We have chosen all of our restaurants pretty much for dinner on this trip. I have one slot open for which I am trying to decide between Citricos or Flying Fish to fill. About half of our party quite enjoy fish, and the other half would all like something else on either menu. I would love for any and all opinions, even if you have only tried one of the two.

TIA!

Suppose my vote it not quite far since we haven't actually tried the Flying Fish. (But we did look in the windows once). HOWEVER, we loved Citricos when we went for our 25th, one of the best meals (if not THE best) we ever had at WDW.

We ate at Flying Fish for the first time this past December and just loved it. I had the Red Snapper and it was my favorite meal of our whole trip.

We ate at Flying Fish last June and were not that impressed. I had the potato crusted snapper and it was too potatoey-rich for me. It may have been the weather....I felt like it would have been much better eaten by the fire on a cold wintry day. We had eaten at Ca Grill a couple of nights previous and for basically the same price, dh and I agreed the food was much better there....so I guess my vote is for Citricos. I still want to try that one.

Both cost big bucks and if you are on the dining plan both require two TS credits - just don't want you to get any nasty shocks :scared1:

I am biased because I adore The Boardwalk and would choose any TS place there over the GF because at the BW you've got a lot of lively nitelife going on when you finish up your meal. :cool1:

But both are equally good quality wise though you have a lot more choice at Citricos for those who don't like fish. If pushed, I'd choose Flying Fish though a lot depends on the chef on the night too. hmmmmm, now I've confused you more I think. :)

I had the best filet of my life at Citricos - it was an amazing meal with amazing food. We'll be back!

We love them both but our overall favourite is FF :goodvibes

Thanks for the reviews and everyone who voted so far. We aren't on DDP because we have PAP's, so we are going to go with DDE. (That is a pretty funny acronym filled sentence. :lmao: I feel like I'm in the military now. )

Our other definite dinner choices are:

Artist Point (1st time for us)
Beaches & Cream
Boma
Garden Grill (1st time for us)
House of Blues
Jiko
Kona Cafe
Mama Melrose's
Ohana
Palio (1st time for us)
Restaurant Marrakesh
Sci Fi Dine In - Possibly early light lunch? & late Boma Dinner
Teppanyaki
Trail's End Restaurant
Wolfgang Puck Express

Keep those votes and reviews coming. :)

Both are great but FF may just be the gem of WDW. Great variety, awesome service and fantastic food.

dawnrose, the potato crusted snapper is very potato tasting and is the only item at FF I'd not get again. If you're adventurous and trusting talk to one of the chef's and ask him what he'd have that night. We've never been disappointed.
