Hi there!

Can someone tell me how we are expected to dress at Citrico's?
We are thinking of going there for dinner on one of our MK days and wondered how to dress.

Thanks!

Business casual with collared shirts prefered for men. My DH usually wears slacks with an Oxford dress shirt, sometimes with a sport coat. The most casual he's gone there was chino's and a polo.

It is the dressiest of all WDW restaurants except V&A's.

Officially, except for Victoria and Albert, there are no restaurants with a formal dress code. Park Casual is the accepted mode of dress. As a general rule this tends to mean no swimsuits and, at the non-park restaurants, no men with "muscle shirts".

Certain restaurants (such as CG, Narcoossee's and Bistro de Paris), which put on an upscale showing, say that "Business Casual" is recommended, but I have never heard of people neatly dressed with T-Shirt, jeans shorts and sandals being turned away.

I think this is especially true as there are people who are coming directly from a park (or, in the case of Bistro are in a park) who cannot change. Let's say someone without a car was staying at AKL, was at MK, and had a reservation at Narcoossee's. Two choices. One is to get the yacht from MK to GF, which lets them off almost at the door to Narcoossee's - Time about 15 minutes. Otherwise Otherwise bus back to AKL, get to room to change (possibly showering first), bus back to MK and the boat to GF - Time over an hour.

I just called to make the Ressie and they told me "smart casual" this is the same as what they told me for Flying Fish and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

They said no Tank or Tube Tops and no "raggy" jeans, however they said Jeans and shorts (nice ones) are no problem.

I told the girl on the other end that I would remember to put my Tube Top away for that night...lol

My wife and I have worn dockers/ralph lauren type shorts and polo shirts on most occasions to Citrico's, California Grill, Jiko's, Artist Point, Blue Zoo, Yachtmen's, Shula's, Party for the Senses etc. There are always people dressed like us and people dressed fancier but we have never felt out of place.

There are fashion police on the that will tell you need to wear this or that. DW and I have eaten at all the best places except V&A's and have seen it all. I wore shorts and nice shirt to Citrico's, Narcoosees and Jiko last trip was not under dressed. My advice unlike certain other posters is to go comfortable.

As noted, the only things really forbidden are swim suits and tank-tops on men. Many folks dress up, but we've always worn nice shorts and our brand new Disney t's. You'll probably see a little of everything--.

Thanks everyone!
I was really looking forward to wearing my new Tube Top though...LOL

I have never eaten there (obviously) and im really looking forward to it.
We are trying many new places this time like Flying Fish, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Boatwrights for Breakfast.
We usually go on the silver plan and are going on the Premium Pkg this time around!
