I just called to buy tix for La Nouba in May. I was told they weren't having any shows May 10 - 27th because that is their vacation. I'm going to be there May 16 - 25th and was really looking forward to this...

Guess I'll just have to come back to WDW again if I want to see it (Awwwwww do I haaaaaaaaave to?) ;)

Cirque always takes a week in the summer and a week in the winter, and the whole cast takes time off at the same time. Each of the acts and talents are so unique that it's hard to fill in for someone if they let people go on vacation one at a time, so they do it this way instead.

Sorry you'll miss it this time, but it DOES give you a reason to return!

I'm sorry you're going to miss it! But it's nice to have an excuse to go back, isn't it?

They also take a short break in September, but luckily we were still able to go this year. We had been looking forward to the show for a long time, expecially after we passed on our September 2001 tickets to family in Florida. They kept raving about it!

For anyone else who is interested here are the other dark days:

There are no performances on Sundays and Mondays.

La Nouba will not perform on the following dates in 2003:
March 23 to 25
May 11 to 25
July 13 to 16
September 7 to 9
October 26 to 29
December 7 to 15

Thanks for the very useful information! It will help me plan for the next vacation... :p
