Hi everyone

I'm off to WDW for a second time in October. Thinking about going to Cirque du soliel this time and wondered if anyone can aswer a few queries?

What is the general opinion of the show, is it as good as they say?
Will it be suitable for my 7 year old?
Can I/should I buy tickets before I leave the UK?

Cheers

Yes it is as good as they say; maybe even better.

Depends on you 7 year old, but I can't believe he/she won't enjoy it.

You can buy over the phone when you get there (or call in at the box office), when you know what your plans are. You shouldn't have trouble getting tickets in October.

See you at WDW!

DH and DD (6) bought tickets when we arrived. Both thoroughly enjoyed it - I went shopping ;)
Just one tip though. If you decide to buy the DVD don't buy it from the official shop - we did and then, when I nipped next door into Virgin MegaStore, there it was for $5 less!

I bought tickets before I went through Keith Prowse which any travel agent can book for you.

The show is excellent. We've seen them twice over here since first seeing La Nouba in 2002.

I saw La Nouba recently and enjoyed it. My friend loved it however. I won't be taking DH to see it though because I know it wouldn't appeal to him.

You can buy tickets online - and see the seating plan first so you can reject them if you don't fancy position of the seating offered. We ordered our tickets this way and then collected them before the show.

We saw it in October 2004 with my son (10) and daughter (6) and they both thoroughly enjoyed it. The show lasts 1 1/2 hours with no break and there is so much going on, on stage at all times that you just never get bored. We were lucky to get front row tickets - we weren't aware they were front row til we got there and one of the guys on a trick cycle came hurtling across the stage and stopped inches away from me - I really thought he was going to land on top of me - awesome!

Hi
We went to the Cirque last summer with our 5 year old - and he loved it!!! It was fantastic - well worth it! It actually doesn't last as long as you think!

Thanks so much for your replies. You've persuaded me!! Def on the plan now.

To echo the other comments, we saw La Nouba a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely fabulous - possibly the highlight of the entire holiday, although there were so many highlights. :)

Having seen Dralion at the Royal Albert Hall earlier in the year, we had high expectations but nothing prepared us for what turned out to be an even better performance from the Orlando Cirque Du Soleil team.

Unquestionably a 10 out of 10 score and we're seriously considering planning a holiday later this year based around one of the other Cirque Du Soleil shows around the globe. :)
