Hi

This will be my first year attending Cirque du soleil. I've heard so many great things about it. For those of you who have been before. Where is a good place to sit for Category 2?

I've gone to the website and looked at the seating chart and I've put in a ticket request just to get an idea of what is available. The have some seats on the main floor just slightly to the right of the center section and they have seats in the upper center section. I believe around section 205. How is the view? I really don't want to pay for category 1, if I can see just as well in Category 2 seats.

And you know its nothing like your first time

ANY SUGGESTIONS???????

Almost every seat has a great view of the show.

When we went last year we were in section 203 (in what is now catagory 1, I don't think they broke it down by catagory then) and the view was perfect. IMHO I think the second level seats afford a better view, but I am sure there will be others who will say closer is better. A great deal of the show takes place up high, the lower seats will have you looking up for a lot of the show.

I trully believe you will enjoy the show wherever you sit.

Have Fun:wave:

I've been to Cirque in NYC, not Disney, but the theatre is set up the same way. We sat in category 2 seats and they were fine (I got the tickets last minute and was very worried about them! LOL).

Anyhow, I wanted to say it seemed to me that there really wasn't "a bad seat in the house." You'll enjoy the show where ever you sit!!

We are also going to see Cirque for the first time on our next trip. I would like to buy tickets to give my DH for Christmas. Can you please tell me where you inquired about tickets? The best price I've found so far is with Florida Orlando Tickets. How did you find out what seats were available - did you call?

Just joining in...and listening to all the good 'tips' :)

Has anyone sat in the "cheap seats?" I understand they now have a tiered pricing structure. Maybe the medium-priced seats are just as good as the most expensive, but what about the least expensive? Are they just as good as the moderate or the expensive, or would you recommend we avoid the "value" seats? :wave2:

We're going for the first time in February. Our tickets are in section 203 (Category 2) on the aisle near section 204. I got those on someone else's recommendation.

Though I'm sure opinions vary widely, and I've also heard there are no bad seats, I don't want to spend the entire time looking up, so I think I'll prefer the upper level to the lower. At any rate, I guess I'll find out! I'm really excited...can't wait! :Pinkbounc

We were just there for the first time Oct 22. We bought our tickets at the box office a couple of night before. The theatre was about 80% full. We had level 2 seats. Just as others mentioned I don't think there is a bad seat. I have seen ads for the 59 seats. After attending I would be comfortable in them as well.

It looks like section 2 is the place to be...I hear alot of people who have obtained seats in section 203 and had great things to say about it.

I want to thank all of you for your wonderful advice...I'M REALLY EXCITED TO GO NOW...I CAN'T WAIT. But then again I've never experienced a bad trip with Disney:Pinkbounc

We were in 203, 4 rows up. There are only 6 seats in this row as it abuts entrance tunnel/door B. There were 6 in our group so it was perfect. Great seats. When I got them it was best available seating. I wasn't sure how I would like being higher up as opposed to closer to the stage. But, it was terrific! Couldn't have asked for better seats. Have a great time, the show is wonderful.

I have read several posts that state that there are no bad seats at Cirque. And that most of the performance is in the air, so I saw seats in category 2 on the first level 3 rows from the stage.

Will I feel the neck bender effect from looking up so much, to the point where I may need to consider moving to the 2nd level. Or will the first level be okay???????????
