Hi

This will be my first year attending Cirque du soleil. I've heard so many great things about it. For those of you who have been before. Where is a good place to sit for Category 2?

I've gone to the website and looked at the seating chart and I've put in a ticket request just to get an idea of what is available. The have some seats on the main floor just slightly to the right of the center section and they have seats in the upper center section. I believe around section 205. How is the view? I really don't want to pay for category 1, if I can see just as well in Category 2 seats.

And you know its nothing like your first time:bounce:

ANY SUGGESTIONS???????

The design of the theatre and the performance is such that I don't think there are any bad seats. The view is excellent in both categories. Enjoy! :)

PS: This should probably be moved to TPAS to get the most responses.

Thank you Eeyore for the suggestion:teeth:

twinx, if you can, try and get the top of 102, bottom of 202 or the top of 104, bottom of 206.
The theatre isn't as big as it seems, so most all the seats are wonderful. And everything happens in such a huge and grand fashion, with most acts, you see everything.
We were either in 201 (near the wall) or 202 near 201, and it was great.
Enjoy the show!

The theatre is arranged in such a way that each seat is good, in my opinion. And since many acts happen mid-air...just look up!
Enjoy...it is a breathtaking show!

I have read several posts that state that there are no bad seats at Cirque. And that most of the performance is in the air, so I saw seats in category 2 on the first level 3 rows from the stage.

Will I feel the neck bender effect from looking up so much, to the point where I may need to consider moving to the 2nd level. Or will the first level be okay???????????

You'll be fine, sounds like great seats by the way.
Not everything is aerial, and (if I recall correctly, it's been 2 yrs now) the rows begin level, or atleast very close, with the stage.
Don't forget to buy a program.
