Cirque du Soleil question…Disney springs

I'm planning on going to disney for a short weekend trip in august for my birthday. we had planned our first night there to catch a Cirque du Soleil show…do we HAVE to purchase our tickets beforehand or can we wait until we get there? more than likely we'll be in Disney Springs about 6-7pm, i thought about purchasing our tickets to the 9pm show when we get there then walk around maybe grab a bit to eat before the show…will they be sold out? is the show THAT in demand? I've been to disney several times, just never had the chance to do a Cirque show until now…

Sometimes it sells out, sometimes it doesn't. It's impossible to say for sure whether it will sell out on the day you want to see it.

You can purchase them there. I believe you can even go hours before the show if you are hanging around Disney Springs. But if you are getting there close to showtime, I would suggest purchasing them before. You could get better seats and ensure you get a spot.
