Cirque du Soleil dvds advise needed

My parents saw La Nouba 2 weeks ago, and now have requested the dvd as a xmas gift. I see that Amazon has quite a few of the different shows on dvd, and I think they would enjoy seeing another one also. Does anyone own some of them, and if so, which are considered the better ones?

I have seen 7 different CdS shows in person. If "O" is available, that would be my suggestion. The TV experience will be very different from the live show, but if they've seen it live, the DVD will be a great way to reminisce.

Buy as many as you can afford and think they will like. The reviews of the shows and DVD's are some of the best around, you basically can't go wrong.

Finding them in stores and finding them cheap can be quite tricky however.

The absolute cheapest way to buy them is actually signing up as a new member through Columbia House. CH carries almost every Cirque DVD and you can choose them as enrollment selecitons. Normally you don't save that much vs. other stores, but Cirque DVD's are priced so high, CH becomes a good deal.

I second Quidam. The only one I wouldn't recommend is "The Journey of Man".

I don't remember seeing "O" listed on Amazon.

I did find a good deal on Amazon - a 3 pack for $36 - Quidam & Dralion (both mentioned here) and Journey of Man (which was UN-recommended, but at that price...). The same 3 pack at Best Buy is $89.

If they enjoy these, I'll be able to buy them more later.

I forgot about the Journey of Man. I happen to like this one. The music is beautiful.
