Anyone seen this show? I'm going to it tomorrow night! I'm so excited. Never been to see a Cirque show before. Keep meaning to see the one in Walt Disney World but don't really like taking time away from the parks.

Oooh, post what you think! I'm going in Dallas on the 24th and would love to hear!

We want to go to this one too - so please let us know what you think.

By the way, La Nouba at WDW is beyond fantastic!!!!! Highlight of my trip this past December!!! You have to go.

Jenny:)

I loved Corteo so much when it was in DC that I saw it TWICE. The first time we did the $200+ VIP tickets with family and the second time, a friend and I got less expensive tickets to see it. FABULOUS!!! I've seen several of the Cirque shows and so far this one is second only to La Nouba.

I went in December and Corteo was great! One thing I especially liked was the lack of dumb clown stuff. I never find the clowns in Cirque or any other circus entertaining. Sometimes Cirque shows have a lot of that but not this show. You'll have a blast.

I saw CorteoIn Montréal when the show was still only a few days old, so you might see something a bit different ( since Cirque du Soleil is from my city Montréal , it both a blessing and a curse: we see the show first , but most often the show evolves and we nerver get to see the "final product!)( Oh , and there world headquarters are just a few steets from us , with the Montréal circus school and a theater completely dedicated to circus show, la Tohue !)

Any way , Corteo is among my favorite Cirque shows. It's look is more "comedia del arte" It feels like an Italian movie from the 20's. The "story" is that of a clown who is on his death bed and is tranported in a feliniesque world. The caracteres look more "real" than in other shows. It's visuals are much more poetic for me , since they are more set in "reality" ( angels bringning our clown flying in his bed , trapeze artist doing there thing in giant crystal chandeliers etc.) I think you will like it, it was amazing

We've seen both Corteo and LaNouba and everyone in our family enjoyed Corteo so much more than LaNouba! Corteo was the first one we saw and because Corteo was a travelling show we were expecting LaNouba to be just that much better because it was permanent. We enjoyed LaNouba, but I wouldn't go see it again, while I would definitely go see Corteo again! :goodvibes

I saw La Nouba as well , but when you have seen all the traveling shows , La Nouba feel a bit warmed-up, like a" best of" on steroïds but a best of from 10 years ago. I think it is the least "original " of all the , permanent shows ( I am only complaning for the sake of it , since I really like La Nouba a lot).
