Hi there,

I was wondering, if you are on the DDP, and try to get ressies for Cindy's, do you still have to prepay, or do they waive that by having your confirmation number? I understand the fact of having a credit card number on file for cancellation, but I wanted to ask first,

Thanks,

Jules (57 days to go, WOOHOO!)

I booked CRT for my trip this October, I am on the DDP and all they asked for was my credit card # and my reservation #. They did not charge anything. Keep in mind, they will charge if you cancel without a notice though. I was a little worried too, but it will be ok!

I believe that the only way to not have to pay ahead of time is to phone in the ADR. If you book online then you'll have to pre-pay and get a refund at the restaurant.

Technically, no if you are on the DDP they should only use your credit card as a hold for CRT. However, the online system tends to be a little bit funky at times and won't always recognize that one is on the DDP, and will charge your credit card right away.

If you call (as oppose to online), it's much more likely that your card won't be charged in advanced by accident.

If you do it online and they charge your card despite being on the DDP, you can try to call and fix it (but usually they have to cancel your old ADR and make a new one), or you can just wait until your actual ADR and they will refund your money then.
