Cindy's Lunch - Strategy

So now that Cindy's is offering lunch as well as breakfast, is the PS strategy the same? In the past I felt like I was preparing for battle to get a PS (getting up early, calling at the right time, barking orders to the CM, etc.).

What did you do to get lunch? Do you still have to call the first day the PS is available when the phone lines open? Do you bark "Cindy's lunch" to ensure that the CM gets the right meal? What do you do?

I treated it the same as breakfast and got the 12:15 seating. From reading on the boards, seems like lunch was sold out in about 30 minutes.

When she picked up, all she got out was "Good Morning and . . . " I said, "Cinderella's Round Table for lunch, October 4th"

They're used to it. I felt rude but figured she would understand. After she secured it, we chit-chatted while she did my other reservations.

I have gotten Cindy's breakfast in the past, and I am really laughing at my behavior. I do the same thing, once I secure the PS, then I try to make up for being General Patton. The CMs are great, and quite used to it. I wonder what goes on right before they open the phone lines!!!

I think the lunch reservations are starting to become popular. I followed the same instructions as calling for breakfast. I was put on hold until 7:15, and then the earliest seating was 12:20. (They start at noon, so this was still good to me ) You probably can call later if you're willing to sit later in the afternoon, but the earliest seat was important to me.

I think that lunch is better than breakfast because the best time IMHO to tour the theme parks is in the morning. I wonder if they will ever have a character dinner in the castle?

I called at noon on Sunday and got lunch for 4 at CRT 9/29. I just checked to see if there were any cancellations and just got lucky I guess.

I called this morning...using 1 1 to get through the queue faster...I was on hold for maybe 10 minutes and when the CM answered, I let her finish her opening sentence (I work in a callcentre and I couldn't bring myself to interrupt ). When I told her I wanted the lunch on the 4th, she said "you are the first person I have had ask for the lunch." I had my choice of times from start to finish. I took 1:00 as I want to maximize my early morning touring.

I called on July 4th and got a 2:05 PM for 2 on 8/31. I did want the later lunch b/c I have an 8:05 at CP the same day!
