Well I still have that cold so I'm going to take it easy. I think I'm starting to get addicted to exercise or feel extremely guilty about missing it so I decided to at least do some sit ups this morning, 100 of them. At least some part of my body got some exercise. Points went pretty well yesterday and I plan to do well today but as for tonight, well lets just call it my cheat night! My hsuband and I are going to the Outback so I'm going to enjoy it and get to exercising tomorrow (hopefully).
 
hey cindy, good idea to take some time off exercise when you're sick. you've gotta listen to your body. if it needs the extra rest, your best bet is to let it have it. i know what you mean about being addicted to exercise though! it really is hard to take a break! hope you had a great dinner at outback :)
 
Outback - YUM!! That's one of my favorite restaurants! I hope you enjoyed your dinner out with DH!

If your cold has settled in your chest, then you should take a break from exercise. Be extra good to yourself - your body is using lots of energy to fight off that cold, even though you're not exercising. Don't be afraid to take a short break. If you feel like you have to do some exercise, treat yourself to some gentle stretching.

Well, I didn't exercise yesterday or today (except for 100 sit ups each morning including Sunday) because it's been an little bit crazy. My 3 year old has 2 ear infections and my husband woke up yesterday and couldn't move his hand. He went to the ER and came home in a cast b/c he tore the tendons and has a bone chip. He has no idea how he did it. I feel really bad about not exercising but this usually isn't a good week for me anyways diet wise (the week prior to TOM) so I'm not going to dwell on it and I'll just do what I can and try to stay extra good with eating.
 

aw cindy, i hope your kiddo is feeling better! ear infections are no fun. and your dh! that's just crazy, and pretty scary too. mysteriously tearing tendons? oh my goodness! i hope he's okay. don't worry about not getting your exercise in. sounds like you've got enough other stuff to be worrying about anyway. as long as you stick to your eating plan, i'm sure you'll do just fine, and you'll be able to get back to exercise when you can ::yes::
 
Thanks Marcia! It's been crazy here. Luckily my little one is better and my husband is better but still sore. He can't figure out what happened. He was helping my brother take down a ceiling but that was 2 weeks ago and maybe it happened then. I don't think it would take that long to be sore, or would it?:confused:

Anyway, I did weigh in on Friday and I was exactly the same. I didn't exercise but I was kind of busy so I think that kept me from eating a lot.

I did the 2 mile WATP express today and 100 crunches. I'll get back to FIRM tomorrow. I'm doing well with eating today and hopefully I'll be back on track from here on in.

Today I did 100 crunches and the FIRM Body Sculpt (the first time I did the entire tape). I also added weights this time. I'm a little sore in my arms and legs but I guess that's good. I didn't write any points b/c I want to see how I do without journaling everything.

I already shoveled and I'm really sore now, my back and arms. I plan on doing a WATP walk and FIRM Ab Sculpt today but we'll see how that goes.

I did the 2 mile WATP and 150 crunches. I didn't do FIRM, too sore, but I'll try tomorrow.

we got blasted with snow too, but luckily, other family members took care of the shoveling for me :)

you're doing a really great job getting in lots of exercise! you must be building great muscles :hyper:

I did the 3 mile watp and shoveled a little more :rolleyes: . I slipped on ice yesterday while carrying barrels and I didn't fall but my back twisted and it really hurts :( . I hope it feels better, I took last week off from exercise b/c it was busy around here and I've been on a roll since Monday, I don't want to get off track again.
 
I'm sorry you fell! I will send you some :grouphug: hugs and pixie dust so that you will hopefully get to feeling better soon. Take care of that back in the meantime so you don't hurt it even worse!
 
Today is weigh day and I was down a pound from last week which brings my total loss to 31 pounds. I still have a ways to go but I'm getting there. :D My back was feeling ok when I woke up so I did the 2 mile WATP and 100 crunches. I decided to stay away from the FIRM b/c I was still a little sore.
 
Today is a busy day! I have a dentist appointment in the morning, have to bake this afternoon for a St. Patrick's Day parde party tomorrow and today is our 5 year anniversary :) so we will be going to dinner tonight (I will not be skimping on dinner either, this is my point cheat night ;) ).

I've cleaned the house and did 100 crunches. I'm going to try to sneak in a walk today, it's cold but it's so bright and sunny :sunny: . Other than that, I won't be doing FIRM or WATP until Monday. I usually only weigh in on Fridays but for some reason I weighed myself this morning and I was -.80 less than yesterday. I'm not going to record that weight since yesterday was my official weigh day but I can see how people get addicted to hopping on that scale! I'm sure if I hopped on this afternooon it will go up. Have a nice weekend everyone!

I think today was good point wise, I slacked and only wrote down breakfast and lunch :rolleyes: . I did the FIRM Cardio Sculpt in the morning and the 2 mile WATP express in the afternoon. My knees are kind of sore, I think it's from the fanny lifter so I'm going to try to go walking today instead of the doing the dvd's/tapes. :D

Hi Erin! Thanks for stopping in. :D Don't give me too much credit with the FIRM, let me tell you, it wasn't pretty ;) . I bet if I taped myself I could win big on America's Funniest Home Videos :teeth: . I made a few modifications a couple of times but I made it thru. :sunny:
