Cindy's journal

Hang in there, Cindy! Take your time and ease back into the groove! It sounds like you're doing well in the food department and you're losing - always good news!! One less pound you have to carry around! :Pinkbounc You're eating healthier and making great choices! You should be very proud of you!! ::yes::

Sorry to hear about the asthma! I have a mild case of asthma, although when I eat low-carb I don't have near as many episodes! I hope the doc gives you an albuterol inhaler - taking 2 puffs before you exercise can keep the asthma from coming on. Check with your doc to make sure that's what they recommend but that's what my doc told me to do and it works.

Hope you have a terrific Tuesday! :sunny:

:sunny:

Thanks for stopping by Doreen! Thanks for your advice about the albuterol. My doctor did prescribe the albuterol inhaler with refills when I first became sick so I will take you advice and try it before exercise today.

I didn't weigh in on Friday, didn't feel like it. That's the first time I've skipped weigh in since I started in July. This morning I started writing down points again and measuring portions to make sure I'm not having more than I'm counting points for. I will do the 2 mile WATP this morning along with all the spring cleaning I will be doing. I'm starting over today and hopefully there won't be any setbacks, at least any time soon!

:cheer2: Have a good day everyone! :sunny: :cheer2:

Sounds like you're moving back toward the healthy living road, Cindy! Good for you! Sometimes when I've strayed, getting back to my healthy habits almost seems like the comforting feeling I get when I come home after vacation. It's nice to have an adventure but then it's always nice to come back home to my familiar things, my comfort zone.

I hope you feel like you're coming back to your healthy living comfort zone! :sunny:

I finally got back into the swing of exercising and did the 3 mile WATP, 50 sits ups and some arm weights. Points are great and if I stay on plan today I should have some points left over.

Cindy, I'm thinking of you and hoping all is well! :sunny:

Thanks for stopping by Doreen!

I'm still here but haven't been to WISH too much. I have been trying to be careful with points but exercise hasn't been one of my top priorities lately (FIRM, WATP) and it should be!

I have been very busy and I'm been busy cleaning out a spare room and the basement so I've been doing a lot of lifting and climbing stairs over the past 2 weeks or so. It's not my normal routine but it's something. Tomorrow is weigh day (not looking forward to it) and this weekend is going to be busy but things should be back to normal by Monday. I'll try again to get back on schedule.

Have a good day! :sunny:

I finally got back on track today. I did the 2 mile watp, 100 sit ups and arm weights. Points are low so far and if I stay on plan I'll be good today. I just have to drink my water and snack on carrots and I'll be happy. :sunny:

:cheer2: :cheer2: GO CINDY!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
You sound so positive and ready to go! Your exercise always amazes me - 100 situps!!!!

Hang in there and you'll have a good solid on-plan day - tomorrow will be easier! ::yes::

I stayed within points yesterday and so far so good today. I did 100 sit ups this morning then arm work and 3 mile WATP this afternoon. I don't have dinner planned so I have to make sure I take into account the amount of points I have left.

Points are good so far (I went a little over yesterday). I did arm weights today and the FIRM Ab Sculpt. I was hoping to do a 1 or 2 mile WATP but haven't been able to get to it.

Keep it up, Cindy!! Hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend, filled with fun, on-plan food and exercise! :sunny:

Thanks Doreen! I really appreciate that you take to time to cheer your fellow Wisher's on! :D

I skipped exercise yesterday b/c my knees and back were sore so I didn't want to push it too much especially since I was just starting up again on regular exercise. I did the FIRM Cardio Sculpt today. Today is also weigh day which didn't go as well as I hoped :( . The scale said I was up 2 lbs from last week  :( . I was on points (I went over a little but still did better than if I wasn't keeping track), exercised except for yesterday and drank my water. I'm also a Pepsi fanatic and I only had Pepsi twice this week. Oh well, I guess I can't dwell on it. Hopefully next weeks weigh in will be better.

Cindy, are you sure you didn't eat extra salty food yesterday?? You've done so well this week that I can't believe those 2 pounds are anything but water weight! ::yes::

Next week will be better, I'm sure!! :sunny:

I did the 2 mile WATP and 50 sit ups. This week is pretty much a wash but I'm going to try to salvage what I can.

Don't give up, Cindy!! Each day is a new opportunity, a brand new start! Forget about the past and do the best you can do today!

I'm cheering you on!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I did the FIRM Ab Sculpt. It was supposed to be weigh day but I didn't get on the scale. I think I'm going to try weigh in every other week and see how that goes.

I did the 2 mile watp. Points were ok. I plan to do either the 2 or 3 mile WATP tomorrow and be very strict with points.

Sometimes I think scales are EVIL, Cindy! If you feel the need to avoid yours, go with your gut instinct and avoid it. As long as you're eating right and exercising, you'll feel like a scale encounter soon enough!

Have a wonderful day!! :sunny:
