Cindy's for lunch or dinner?

I was not able to get reservations at Cindy's for breakfast. How is the lunch or dinner there. I know there are no characters for these meals, would it still be ok for kids? (ages 4 and 7)

If your kids just must eat in the castle then I would say lunch. Its definetely cheaper. It was my DH birthday and get this he wanted to feel like a king and eat in the castle. We felt really rushed, nothing special. I asked her to please bring out a candle for the dessert we paid for lol and then they looked so strange when I asked if the 2 DS could order off the kids menu. THey are teens. But here was a little unexpected surprise. We hit the elevator button door to go down and guess who magically appeared when the door opened - why Cinderella of course. She really had no time to visit or do an autograph. I think she was just passing through in between her show in front of the castle. But I wish we had the camera ready. Some of our party took the stairs down and also the camera. Oh well. We said to cinderella surprise and she replied - oh what a lovely greeting. Little DS 9 blushed. But seriously I agree with the other poster. go to the Crystal Palace if you are in the MK or try looking into another character meal. Its really expensive and not worth it in my opinion. the castle for lunch that is.

How about 1900 Park Faire at the GF for dinner? It's very convenient to get to from the MK and I believe their dinner buffet includes Cinderella, Prince Charming, some of the mice and the Fairy Godmother.

We had a wonderful time there for lunch, DD loved it and the food was quite good. It's really neat to be in the castle and you really see more without being distracted by the characters...we didn't really notice the castle for the castle with Cinderella there, it was a great time both ways! I would still make a character meal elsewhere, but don't miss the castle.

I've eaten at Cindy's 5 times, 4 lunches, 1 dinner. I find I love lunch there. Dinner seemed rushed. Servers were much friendlier at lunch. And don't forget to look out the window! One time Captain Hook and Peter Pan were skipping around the balcony. The little boy at the next table was too busy eating and wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't pointed them out.
