I was just going over our itinerary for our week in Feb/Mar. We were looking for dinner ideas for MK and decided to just check and see if Cindy's had ressies available for dinner for Sunday night. They actually did and I went ahead and made the reservation.

How is dinner there? I know breakfast and lunch are the popular choices for the princesses, but DH and I are just looking for a quiet place for dinner in the middle of the Kingdom.

We did dinner there on our last trip in April. It was great. My DD is now satisfied that she ate in the Castle. Cindy was in the lobby posing for pictures - even better since we told my DD that she was probably busy and not sure if she would be there. Meal was nice, prices weren't horrible and a wonderful setting.
Now my DH wants to go back on the next trip. :goodvibes

We just had dinner there this month. I was surprised, the food wasn't half bad. But, I would caution you that it is NOT a quiet place to have dinner. It is a pretty place. What I had was pretty good. But, it is far from a quiet place. If you are looking for a quiet place, hop a monorail & eat at one of the MK area resort restaurants. It'll be quieter.

Did they tell you what the menu will be? As of Feb 1st they will have a fixed appetizer and dessert with a selection of entree. It will be a fixed 39.99 per adult or 2TS credits each. The CM's I've spoken with cant tell me what the fixed app and dessert are yet but I want to know, esp if they bring back the slipper dessert.

We ate there last week. I thought it was a bit chi-chi for the kids but the ambiance of the castle made it ok. The food was good and a bit more upscale. DH had prime rib. When he got back from and extended trip to the bathroom with our son trying to avoid eating his food, he pushed the plate away because it was cold. The CM brough him out another huge warm cut. Dontcha just love Disney?

I think by then Cindy's dinner should be a character meal as well- along with the whole fixed price thing. DBF and I will be going in 2 weeks for dinner, and are looking forward to a romantic evening, but I honestly don't think it will be that way much longer. Character meals look like fun, but way too chaotic to be romantic. Sorry I don't have better news.
