HI! I've looked around and can't seem to find anyone's review/opinion on eating breakfast in the Castle. We (a party of 6) are going to be eating breakfast at CRT on the 18th of September. I was wondering how anyone's experience was at breakfast time as far as Characters ect..

Thanks in Advance!:goodvibes

princess: We did Cindy's Castle (4 of us) back in Aug 07 for Breakfast. Me DH, and two DS's 9 & 5. We loved it. We got into the park before it had opened. The characters came around many times and the boys loved it. We took many pics, plus the pictures you take when you first walk into the castle. The food was pretty good. Typical breakfast food already plated (eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit etc.) All you can eat. I think everyone should do it at least once. After all you are in the Castle pixiedust: . I think you will really enjoy it.

We did this in November (and the dinner too - they are completely different and not just the food!!!)

We had booked for four and my Ds was ill so it was just myself and DD and the server was amazing, even though there is a cancellation policy he got a gift card for my DD to take back to my DS to the value of the two missing people and said 'your brother will be able to have some treats later!'

A wishing star and wand are given to the girls after they have had their photos taken with Cinderella and a star and sword to the boys. The photos are brought to your table, one large photo of the castle and one large of your party (more for you as there are 6 of you) plus four smaller pictures of your party. The princesses then visit at breakfast time, we had Wendy Darling, Jasmine, Belle in Blue and Snow White. Once an hour (I think) they have a wishing ceremony, won't spoil how it works but DD made her wish that her brother would be better soon and about three hours later we met DS and DH walking along main street so she knows that the ceremony works.

The food is nothing special but we didn't hate it either. A fruit selection including melon, mango, strawberries and kiwi. A cooked breakfast (you can opt for a healthy choice instead) and a bread basket plus drinks. They will refill anything upon request.

The character interaction was really good and the setting is amazing. We've just booked again for February, hoping all four of us make it this time!

Thank you so much for telling me more about it. I have never eaten in the castle and am really looking forward to it. I was just alittle worried at first because I had read some bad reviews about interaction especially during dinner and lunch and was hoping breakfast would be better thanks so much!

We've had breakfast once and lunch twice. We enjoyed the food, and thought the character interaction was great. My DD (now 6) absolutely loved going to the castle - the atmosphere and getting one-on-one time with each princess for a pic....last year we did BBB prior to the lunch and you could not wipe the smile off her face. We will be going again in February :cool1:

You will love it - have fun!

We've had breakfast there twice - once in april 07 and once in Jan 08 and had a great experience both times! The setting is amazing, the character interaction and the food are both good. The wish ceremony is very cute. We never felt rushed even with a late seating - the food was plentiful and the characters still took their time. My DD is a very picky eater and the staff was very accommodating and made her some toast (which is not normally served with breakfast) to eat with the breakfast meats (the only thing served that she will eat). They were also happy to supply DH with seconds on anything he wanted. We love breakfast at CRT and would go again in a heartbeat!

I would be surprised if you didn't LOVE it. We've done it our last several trips and the characters are great!!!! The new ceremony is such fun, and WE LOVE THE FOOD!!! I'm not a breakfast lover, though the family is, but even I love it (that potato caserole... I'd love a plate of that right about now!) My Grandma (kids great grandma) went with us last time and was so into it, she loved meeting Snow White as they were born the same year and have the same "last name". This year she and grandpa are coming! It's so fun, beautiful, such an experience. We never did lunch or dinner because when we started going the characters didn't come at lunch or dinner and now that they do, we are hooked on the breakfast. Have Fun!!!

We had breakfast there Dec 05 before the wishing ceremony and addition of the free photo package, but we loved it. Couldn't ask for a better setting and the dining room was small and quiet. Character interaction was standard for us...nothing out of the ordinary. We had Mary Poppins, Princess Aurora, Snow White, Belle in blue, and Fairy Godmother. (Cinderella in lobby only) The FG was by far the best! She fawned over my nieces and made them feel special. We all loved the food especially the danishes. I got the normal plate and the healthy plate (granola, fruit & yogurt). We made reservations for this Dec 08 and hope it's just as good as 3 yrs ago.

My dh and I were there for breakfast in Feb and LOVED it. The food was good and the princesses were beautiful. How can things not be good you are in the castle? LOL The picture package with Cinderella came with the meal and they gave us a pair of champagne flutes for our anniversary. I understand they don't give the flutes away anymore but it was awesome.

We were there April 2005...it was the first thing we did on our first trip to WDW. What a way to start! We were pretty much in awe and didn't do anything other than get autographs and pics. We have since learned to ask questions and otherwise engage the characters! But I wouldn't say they rushed. We just didn't have much to say.

I had felt sick that morning and couldn't eat a lot of the food, but I think what I did eat made me all better! It was yummy- I remember some stuffed french toast? I was good to go the rest of the day. Can't wait to go back this November (hopefully) feeling well!

We have been to breakfast at the Castle I think 8 times now....it never gets old! It is wonderful! I love the atmosphere, I love looking at the ceiling, the windows, everything! The princess interaction is great as well...through our visits we have seen Peter Pan, Belle, Mary Poppins, Aurora, Snow White, Fairy Godmother, Jasmine and of course Cindy. Peter was 10 yrs ago though, so maybe that was a fluke then. The food is greattoo, personally, I love the stuffed french toast....& to sit down & have a good cup of coffee is heavenly. Yes I know it's still nescafe, but it tastes better in the castle.

Enjoy yourselves!

Hoping we can go for visit #9 in March

My DH and DD 8 and I did breakfast this January at the Castle. We found it AMAZING (yes it was our first trip to Disney EVER!)

The food: WOW- we loved the breakfast and found it was one of the best meals we had the entire trip. I loved that we could get seconds (maybe even thirds) of anything that we wanted.

The characters: Princess Aurora, Belle, Snow White, Princess Jasmine (it was DH B-day so she did seperate pictures with him alone!! ) ;) plus of course Cindy below. They were fabulous and took pics/signed autographs with my daughter and came back to our table several times.

As we were leaving- we ran into the wicked step mother and step sisters outside the castle for autographs and some HILARIOUS conversation They were as snotty and spoiled as one would expect berating my parenting skills since I require my daughter to do chores!! they felt that insuperior step sisters should have to work instead!

its a GREAT experience and we will be doing it again for sure

We're dining for the first time in the castle for breakfast on our last day of our trip. The next day is mine and DH's 13th anniversary, so it will be like a "family" anniversary celebration. DD is not much into the princesses, but DS does think they're pretty. Really the main reason is to just eat in the castle. We're really looking forward to it!

We had a really, really early morning ADR for CRT, I think it was for 7:30AM. I hated to get out of bed so early!

When we arrived at the park, I informed a CM of our reservation. He whisked us ahead of the waiting crowd and we entered the park before it was open. The best part was walking alone down a deserted main street!

We will be dining there for the 1st time, this November (even with all the times at disney:) have never eaten in the castle. I think I am looking forward to it more than my kids (who are all grown)

I wanted to do this for our honeymoon last year but had no luck. On a whim I called last weekend for our upcoming trip even though it's definitely past the 180 days and they had the day I was looking for and the time that we already had another breakfast planned for that morning, so it worked out perfectly! I can't wait!!! :goodvibes I did this breakfast several years ago so it will be nice to see the changes they've made :cloud9:

We did it for the first time last week and thought it was just okay. It was pretty cool to be dining in the castle and the view of fantasyland was wonderful but the character interaction was okay, nothing outstanding. The Princesses came to our table, signed autographs, took photos and then left. We were celebrating dd's birthday and only had 2 princesses wish her a happy birthday. The other 3 didn't even notice her birthday button. The food was okay, standard fare. Since gratuity was included in the cost, it made sense that service was mediocre. We actually felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant. We had a 10:10am reservation and were in and out in about an hour. I wasn't sure if it was an "all you care to eat" meal until our server asked if we wanted anymore of anything as he was taking away our plates. We're glad we've done it once, but I doubt we'll do it again and would probably just take dd to Askershus in Epcot (assuming it's till only 1TS).
