I have been mulling this over as well...it makes sense to use 2 TS for the child (21.99), but not necessarily for the adult (31.99). Most TS meals for children are 10.99 or less. I still don't know what the best deal is. I am almost thinking that I'll pay OOP for 50s Prime Time Cafe and use 2 TS for CRT.

That's a good idea to just pay for the adult breakfasts. I made my adr's this morning and there was only 1 lunch, which I didn't want, and 4 for my arrival day. I took the latest one they had at 10:20 on 10/8, but I wanted 10/11. Does anyone know if they only release half of the tables, then release the rest at exactly 180 days out? I was reading something about that topic, but I don't remember the details. I hope so, because if they do I'll be calling bright and early Thursday.

Quick question I was hoping someone could help with....

the photo package that is now on offer - is this part of the price or do you have to pay extra for it? Just wondering!

I;ll try and answer. You can pay when you call just give them your credit card and they will take out the cost at that time - I dont know if you could only pay oop for half of the party tho - I think you'd be better off paying the entire amount and saving the TS credits for another meal (maybe make another breakfast adr for the family AKL?) you will have endless possibilities trying to figure out how to use them.

The Photo package is part of the cost of the "meal" that's why I look at it as not worth 2 TS because the food is only 1 TS, 1TS is for the photo package - (well, the way I've been looking at it anyways!! I have fuzzy math of huge proportions tho!! lol ) and i'd rather pay oop for that - now I just wish we could "opt out" of paying for the photo, but you cant...

IE - releasing more tables - YES!! I called at my 181 day mark (It was a CM honest mistake , long story!) and the only time available was on 5 days into our stay, and I booked the 8:05, then realized it was an emh day - so I called back 2 days later, and not at 7am - and I got an 8:05 am ressie our 1st full day at the park!!

I am worried about getting a ADR at CRT. Should I plan on calling myself or should I have my AAA agent call for me?

I called Tuesday, which was 180 days out from our arrival day, and made all of my adr's and got all the times I wanted. EXCEPT Cindy's for breakfast for the day I wanted. There were only 4 reservations left for our arrival day. We're driving from Tennessee, so that was a no! So I called exactly 180 days out from the day I wanted at Cindy's and got 8:10! I was stressed that I wouldn't get it, but I did. I even called in the afternoon, not at 7 in the morning. If you call exactly 180 days out for the day you want to eat at Cindy's you should be fine. I was suprised that she actually asked me what time I wanted! This will be our first time at Cindy's and I'm ... I won't even mind if the food sucks.

I got in!!! I just called and got lunch in the castle on July 19 (my birthday! ). It's at 12:15. I ate there last year for my birthday for lunch, and the food is really good (I ate breakfast there too, which is also very good. HIGHLY recommend either for anyone interested).

We just booked our package last night. Literally, I was in a state of flux trying to figure out what to do about dining ressies. Being that the package opened up about two weeks ago, I was sure we wouldn't get anything we wanted. Called this morning and got everything we wanted, including Cinderella's Castle for lunch on Aug. 14th. I'm shocked!!!

I am thrilled that we've been able to get CRT ADR's this time, and with absolutely no trouble. My dd is so excited that we'll be able to meet Cinderella in the castle! I tried calling on the 180 + 10 day, but they had nothing available during my entire stay. When I've been calling on the exact 180 day mark, I got seating with no problems. I wasn't sure how easy this would be, so we called and got ADR's for our first full park day, which wasn't the day we had planned for MK. So, we called again today, and were able to get ADR's for day 2, so I will have to decide which one to cancel.

We called right at 7, and got 8:15 seatings both mornings. Actually, dh and I both called (he used the cell), and we were both offered seatings within 5 minutes of each other, both days. Now, at 7:12, I decided to try once again and see if I could get one of the latest seatings. But by that time, the only time available was 9:50, which would blow the entire morning.

So, if you call right at 7, you should have no problem getting your choice of seatings. If you call later, you should probably still get a table.

I got a breakfast reservation for 9:45 at CRT for my birthday.. Does anyone think this is a bad time? It was really all that was available and I want to spend breakfast on my birthday in the castle as I have never done this

Are you kidding, you should have called already for ressies at CRT!!!
I know the rule is on the 180th day of your stay you can call and book the first 10 days............but for me I called on the 190th day of each day. If they tell you that you have called too early, hang up and call back. It depends on the CM, most let you book.
I am going early in October, and I got every single ressie with the times I wanted including CRT..........and on the 190th day each time!!!!
If you dont get them, because it is now past the 190th day, keep in mind they do release more tables on the 180th day to be fair. I had a CM tell me that. Good luck, keep us posted

You have up to what is it, 24 or 48 hours to cancel and lose nothing........MY advice is wait until you see the weather forcast, then cancel one!!! It hurts nothing to wait, and last year our breakfast got canceled because of a hurricane!!! They dont squeeze you in anywhere!!!!
Wait and see, you can get the weather a week out, then you wont miss out!!!!

Is it an early emh day? I really dont think there is a bad time to eat in the castle!! I'd still get to MK early and maybe do a ride or two, grab one fp for after breakfast, enjoy your castle dining - just make it all about you, all about your bday, dont plan on doing a cammando day, but plan on some of the more relaxing rides maybe - the TA, the Carosel of Progress, Cinderellabration, do the Treehouse, the TikiBirds... and then do FP!!

You cant go wrong with the Castle and your birthday!! (make sure you tell them in advance, and stop and get a bday button at guest services!!)

I called this morning and could not get the day or time I wanted 180 days and could not get it...So i got lunch and am hoping that I can move it to a breakfast...I was a little bummed out first time in all of my trips this ever happened...oh well...But my kids still rest in the afternoon so who knows how this will go????!!!

Some of the CM said that to me too. Hang up and call again.
If they say you cant book, tell them you are staying onsite and that you have ressies for other days too......then say to them, I know that you dont think it will work, but could you atleast TRY to book it for me and see if the computer lets you book it. Most of them will say, sure I will try. And then BINGO you are in!
I had one CM say OK, then pretend to try and say to me......nope the computer wont let me........I then called back and the next CM did it for me with no problem.
If you are 190 days or less out, and you are staying ON PROPERTY...call back until you get what you want. It works!!!! I did it for 10 days worth in October, all at 190 days out. My sister inlaw also did it for 8 days at 190 days out.

Yeah, I got what I wanted!

I called yesterday (April 24) at 180 days +1 to get CRT for October 22 but they were sold out. The CM told me to call back at the exact 180 day (today, April 25) because more seats would be released.

Sure enough I called right at 7am this morning and got the time I wanted (8:05am) on October 22! Yeah! I got a bit worried because the CM took forever to offer a time ..... her computer was running slowly this morning.
