I have just booked for april 17 .
I cannot believe it was so easy to book breakfast in the castle .
I have spent many times redialling when i am supposed to be working.
Was surprised by the price increase but does include photo ,just hope we still get plenty of princesses upstairs.

When on the 17th? We got reservations for 8:10am that day! I was so thrilled - I have two princesses (they'll be 4 and 2 when we go) so it will be lots of fun for them...

Does anyone know if there is any way to book CRT without a credit card? I do not own a credit card for various reasons. Am I going to have to apply for one just to take my daughter to eat in the castle?!

Nope, sorry. Even before the announcement of all these changes...price, 2 credits, pre-pay, there was an announcement that ALL meals/shows that require a deposit or full payment will now only take a credit card and nothing else.

And with this new info, they have said it again, if you do not have a credit card, you cannot book CRT. I believe it's mentioned in the official announcement posted at allearsnet.com

have you tried a debit card

A Visa check card. (Debit card).

You don't have to tell them it is a debit card just that it is a Visa. I work for a financial institution and this is what we tell people to do all the time.

Also this is what I used to book all my reservations that required a credit card. No problems at all.

How quickly can I get one of these pre-paid credit cards? I am fearing that the castle is booking up and I am missing out on a reservation just because I don't have a credit card!

I believe if you are using the meal plan with CRT, Disney will only take a deposit from your credit card that will be refunded upon receiving your Table Service options.

The picture package is a $29.95 value and includes 1 6x8 and 4 4x6 photos with Cinderella and 1 6x8 of the castle. More can be purchased if needed.

so do I understand the picture package is free,

Did everyone hear that on Feb. 1st the menu changes for the castle? I read another post that had the new dinner menu and it was not good for $40!! It was things like seafood creation, pasta creation, chicken creation, which could be anything!! The only good item left was Prime Rib! It also said everyone shares an appetizer and you no longer pick dessert. It's one kind of dessert for everyone!!! That does not sound like a $40 meal to me!! I'm going to CP and Liberty Tree Tavern which are both still just one credit unless they change that too!!

The new CRT package is what everyone will get with their character dining reservations. The pictures come with every reservation and is free with the new increased prices of $31.99/adults and $21.99/kids. If using the dining plan it will take 2 Table Service options each. I believe this becomes effective Feb 1st.

I think the dinner price is $40. For the dining plan it is still 2 credits though. I just spoke to a CM and she looked up the menu and confirmed it. She did state the picture pkg. was included in the price.

Why am I being charged 331.42 for 8 adults and 2 children CRT breakfasts. Anybody got any ideas. :teacher:

Thanks for the input.

Well, $31.99 x 8 = $255.92 and $21.99 x 2 = $43.98 which is $299.90 and then you have to add I think 13% tip and taxes too, which I believe are 6.5%. That brings you well over $300. but when I try and get your total I can't! I get an amount more then you were charged!! So now I'm wondering if they did charge you tip and tax?

sorry I couldn't help you more!

I know. I get like $344 if you add the tip. I'm confused!! Anybody else got any suggestions? Maybe I should call them back. :confused3

Okay, call me crazy, but I just applied for a credit card (Disney Visa of course!) just so I can book CRT!!! I don't own a credit card and I really want to eat in the castle, so I applied for it. Now I am really worried because I want to eat there the first week of March, which is now open for ADR's, and I don't know when I'll get the credit card. I just hope this all works out... :confused3
