I've heard of many parents dressing up their little girls for character breakfasts or even for days in the park. Typically this involves one of the princess dresses. Has anyone dressed up thier little boys? What did you dress them in? There seems to be very few things out there for boys to dress up in. I have an almost 3 y/o DS.

TIA,
Rhonda

At some of the toy stores in Disney, I've seen Captain Hook, and Peter Pan costumes.

IMO, best to dress the kids as comfortable as possible. Princess outfits are priceless (my daughter has had many), but not very practical for a day at the Park. Maybe just for the breakfast, then change

Has anyone else who has a son had this problem? I went to the store yesterday, and there is this HUGE little girl section, and just this tiny, tiny little boy section, with not much to choose from........It's so frusterating!!!!!

Get used to it. When your son gets a little older, there will be NOTHING at all at the Disney Store for him. All they have is Princess this and that. A little bit of Buzz Lightyear for the little kids. My "Stitch Fan" son seldom finds anything he can wear.

My ds (4.5) wore the Peter Pan costume for MNSSHP. That seemed really comfy. The top is short sleeved, and the pants are basically like leggings.

I know what you mean. It is the same in the catalog. I just received the most recent one, and the first half of the catalog is clothes and things for kids. Only 6 pages of boy things, everything else is princess, tinkerbell, etc. Of the six pages of boys stuff, like 2 1/2 were power rangers, which, technically, aren't really disney at all. And, we don't even let 4.5 yr old son watch that!

I dressed DS and DD as Peter Pan and Tink last Halloween. It was a last minute thing, so I improvised with stuff I already had, plus a few extras from Wal-Mart. I thought they looked pretty cute! Check them out DS as Peter and DD as Tink

I dressed my DS-5 up in a Buzz Lightyear costume. It was a jumpsuit-type outfit, very easy to slip on and off. Also very comfortable.

The only time I've dressed my boys up for the park was for MNSSHP. But they like to bring lots of "prop" type stuff to the parks to play with .... here is what they have:

Hook, eyepatch, and telescope = from the POC store at the end of the ride

Sorcerer Mickey hat and wand = from the Philharmagic store at the end of the show

Buzz blaster and access badge = also from the store at the end of the ride

So when they bring those things it's sort of like dressing up... they can pretend to be Mickey, a pirate, or Buzz throughout the day. :) They also love their lightup toys for the parks at night.
