I'm thinking about doing a late breakfast at CRT during my solo trip. Has anyone done this before? Is it so bombarded with kids that I would feel strange? I've never eaten here before and would like to see what it's all about and of course it would be an easy way to take some pictures with the princesses without waiting in line. Any advice would be great! Thank you! ;)

I wouldn't do it. It's very overpriced and the food is mediocre at best.

Also, getting pictures with the princesses would be difficult because you would need someone to take them.

Like the PP, I agree it is overpriced. But I had always wanted to eat there. My daughter is not a princess girl; my son could care less. On my solo trip at Christmas, I ate there for a late breakfast on Christmas Day. I was so glad that I did as it was a great way to remember that day for me. I never had a problem getting a picture made with the princesses. For some of the princesses, there was someone with them that took my picture. I also noticed the rotation of how the princesses were rotating through the room. I asked one of the adults in the rotation just before me to take my picture. If you think it would make your trip magical, go for it.

Thank you for the advice. I will be on the DxDDP so not too worried about price. I would also do a late breakfast. Still back and forth but thanks for giving me a heads up on what to expect. ;)

Haven't done breakfast, but I have done a late lunch solo. The food was decent aside from desert issues (food allergies). The princesses were a lot of fun. I did the mermaid makeover at PL before lunch and Snow White dared me to challenge Ariel to a swim race. I did have trouble getting help with pictures but still got everybody but Aurora. I took my photo with Jasmine with my iPhone, the face camera is good for that. The star wand is still in my backseat as a little touch of Disney in the car. As long as you don't expect 5 star food, I'd say go for it.

Absolutely GO FOR IT! Especially if you're on the DxDP. I've done CRT breakfast, solo twice. Last year on the Premium Plan. This year OOP. When I was there in September, each princess asked me if I wanted a picture taken. Be sure to ask for a window table, especially if you are solo. It makes the experience that much better.

As far as the food goes, CRT and CP are tops in my book for breakfast at WDW. The pastries are pretty-much the same at each. The entrees at CRT are better than the buffet at CP. The menu is somewhat limited, but the quality is fine. When you dine at CRT, you are paying for the location, and the professional photo with Cinderella.

I haven't done breakfast, but I have done dinner solo. I didn't feel at all out of place. There were several adult only parties and some solo. Also, photos aren't a problem. Just ask your server if a handler isn't around. They are more than happy to help you enjoy the magic of the castle.

I also have done breakfast solo. Enjoyed it. All the princesses come over and talk with you and ask about a picture.
