Hello,

I am new to this forum... So here is my story.. out of luck (thanks to the Disney Free Dining Deal) we got to book our first trip to Disney with our DD thats 9 years old. We are leaving on September 18th returning Sept. 24th and i booked about 3 weeks ago and have tried everyday to get a seat at CRT for anytime of the day and no luck. Just wondering if I should just give up or keep trying? Any words of advice for a newbie :lovestruc

Thanks..

Keep trying! I will be honest, it is not likely it will open up, but you never know.

I agree... you never know so keep trying. However, I will have to say that we have gone to CRT every time we've been to WDW and we booked at 7am exactly 180 days out all but once. The other time I called at 179 days as I forgot on 180 days and they literally had ONE available seating left for the entire week we would be there. It truly is hard to get if you do not plan ahead on dining reservations....

Keep trying, you never know when you will get lucky!

Keep trying online as often as you can because poeple's plans change all of the time. Since CRT requires pre-payment, if someone changes their mind they will definitely cancel. If nothing opens up before you leave, then once you get to Disneyworld, check with the concierge at your resort every day to see if there are any last minute cancels.

There is also a Princess meal at the Akershus in Epcot that many people enjoy. It's not in a castle, but lots of people have really liked it.

Good luck.

Also, if you haven't gotten an ADR, when you go to MK, ask at the CRT podium whenever you pass by it. Sometimes they do have walk up availability.

Even if it is unlikely, it never hurts to ask.

It is not impossible... we just decide last week that we were going to go during around the same time that you will be there and I got a lunch reservation on Sept 25 the other night. Also, last year we booked last minute for spring break and a few weeks before our trip I managed to get lucky and got the breakfast seating.

Try, try again. I would check every day, even a couple of times a day. I cancelled my Le Cellier' a couple of weeks ago, so who ever got it got lucky.

Last year one of my coworkers called every day for 2 months. She was almost in tears a week out from her trip when she came in and told me she was finally able to get an ADR. Keep trying! Sending a little pixie dust your way... pixiedust:

Keep trying. That's one that requires a CC for confirmation, so guests won't just no-show. Chances are someone is going to cancel between now and then.

Agree, keep trying, even after you arrive.

I am often online after midnight and have dropped some good ones (Le Cellier) and picked up some good ones that late at night.

Last year we had ADRs on two days for CRT during Free Dining. We cancelled while there only days before when half our group could not come, opening it up for someone who was there.

When we checked in on our other day there was a family at the podium asking if they could get in on a walkup, and they were given a table (family of 3) with a short wait.

So it is possible :thumbsup2

I would just keep trying, I am also trying to get in there for our trip in November. I am hopeful, I just scored Chef Mickey's yesterday, and I had been tyring for a couple weeks to get that one! :goodvibes

1900 Park Fare also has Cinderella, it's really good, but I know it's not the castle! Keep trying.
What other restaurants are you wanting & how are those coming along?

Thank you so much everyone for your fairy dust and well wishes.. I will keep trying my bestest..lol This forum is great who knew this existed..

Thanks again Hope everyone gets what they are looking for :cheer2:

Thanks..

We planned our August 3rd vacation during the 4th of July fireworks and was online the next day for our ADR's. We were able to choose which night of Cinderella's Castle (granted, we were looking for a late dinner). I suggest doing it online because you can get a view of up to 5 days at a time and you can change up the time frame. Good luck and don't give up!!!!

How many are you looking for? I am trying to change my ADR for CRT for another day. If I find one, I can PM you and let you know before I cancel my ADR for the 21st.

I have a CRT lunch on 9/25 at 2 that I am hoping to change to a breakfast. If I get a breakfast, I will let you know when I cancel the lunch.

Don't give up we booked our trip late and i checked daily and got Cinderella's Royal Table on the night i wanted! Just takes time and some fairy dust!:goodvibes

I'm getting ready to make my ADR for CRT also~~can I make it at midnight?? or do I have to wait until morning? Also, they will charge my CC even though we'll have the dining plan? help please ;)

They will put a hold ($1 is what it showed online and it fell off after 14 days) on the card in case you don't show if you do DDP, at least that is what it was last year when I had DLXDDP.

I tried to make the ADR after midnight on the day mine opened up to make ADRs and it didn't work, it was 6am EST for me. That was last year as well and the new ADR system still had some kinks in it.
I say though, if you are already up you can give it a try.
