I read in another thread somewhere that you can ask for seconds here? Is this true?

It was true the last time I was there. Although I visit the world oftem. About 30 trips thus far, the last time I ate there was about 7 years ago

Apparently that used to be the case but wasn't when we ate there, which was Oct 2013.

i was there last year but i didnt ask, i remember you could before when it was family style but when i was there last time we each ordered soemthing but i could be wrong...ill ask in sept? unless someone has been recently and can answer? i would like to know

1) CRT is getting away fro AYCTE.
2) Lunch and Dinner are pretty much one-serving.
3) Some people report that breakfast is getting to be the same way.

NOTE:
WDW has found out that CRT does not need to be AYCTE to attract business.
So, why add more costs if not needed?
Kind of like the trials at BoG
. . . reduce manpower via advance ordering
. . . reduce kitchen labor and food waste/spoilage via fewer substitutions which are due to "picky eaters
