Cinderella's Royal Table at 9:30 pm... right after the electrical parade?

Would you take your girls to CRT on a Main Street electrical parade night at 9:30 pm? It will be the girls first MK visit ever. We plan on being there early for RD and going back to the resort for at least 4 hours or so before heading back.

We absolutely have to see the MSEP at 9:00, so will we be able to watch and then make it through the crowd to dinner?

Any tips on this working?

ummm, I wouldn't try to watch the parade and make it to CRT for 9:30pm. The parade is 20-30 min. long, and then getting through the crowd takes a while depending on where you are.

How old are your girls? By the time you get there, get pics with Cinderella and get called for your seat it will be after 10pm most likely. If they are young, this will be tough.

It starts on Main St. so they could possibly watch a bit before going for your ADR. It probably wouldn't be worth the time waiting for a spot near enough to the castle but still where the parade comes for about 5 min of parade time.

You are supose to check in 15 min before your ADR so 9:15pm.

That's going to be a tough one ...
You could watch the parade right when it comes out of the gate on Main Street closer to the entrance, but you will still be missing at least half of the parade. I would just focus on your ADR and if possible, do the parade and fireworks on a different night.

Unless maybe they are from the West Coast :). People often are surprised I make reservations for 8-9, but I'm CST and that's when I normally eat dinner at home.

I think it would be tough unless you're watching the parade right in the area of CRT. If you're coming in, you'll be like a fish going upstream after the parade finishes and you may not make it there in time.

I'm from the West Coast and I still try to keep my niece's dinner at her regular time 5pm. I do have one ADR that is at 6:10pm, it's a night we will be up late and I want her to have a nap at the resort before dinner.

I took my 5 & 10 year old daughters to CRT at something like 9:30pm. It was our first ever trip to WDW. I'd made the res knowing Wishes fireworks would be going off during our dinner.

Didn't take into account how hard it would be to get through the thick parade crowds to get inside the castle! Once inside, it was like a zoo! At that late hour, kids were literally crawling on the floor under the tables and generally coming undone. One little girl took off her shirt.:rotfl:My kids had tried to "nap" earlier in the day (didn't work - too excited to be at Disney!) but even if you manage a nap yourself, don't forget that other little kids can't help it and will be there in their meltdown phase. We truly had a great time, but if I could choose again I'd choose breakfast. :)
