I was only able to get a breakfast ADR at 8:20 for CRT. Will there be enough time to dine and start touring at 9am? Did I cut it too close? If we show up earlier might they be able to seat us early? I had read on here that they rush you through but now I just read that character meals can take 60-90 minutes.

TIA, I'm a total rookie at all this.

First off there is no way CRT will take 60-90 minutes more like 40. Second of all RELAX you are on vacation so if you don't start at 9 you wont miss anything 820 is a great time for CRT oh and I know you are a newbie but its Cinderella's Royal Table not round table

i think it takes 60 mins or more usually since there characters you may be cutting it too close if you want to start at 9 .. the earlier you start the shortr the ride lines will be

I would plan for at least an hour....you might not be seated on time. Or you could be seated early. It really just depends. Try not to rush it though....my girls still talk about eating at the castle. It was a highlight for the.

If park doesn't open until 9, I would line up at the gate so that you can get in at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately, Disney decides how early you get to enter and then it is a matter of arriving at CRT ahead of the other folks with similar seating times.

If park opens at 8, I don't think you can get in early--so it is a matter of getting through the turnstiles and as far front as you can get.

We have been once, but I think it was late breakfast or lunch as we did BBB first. It seems princesses cycled through rather quickly.

Whatever happens, I agree about sitting back and enjoying the experience. You are paying a pretty penny and to rush out to make a line just doesn't make sense.

I think they have sped up the whole process somewhat from what it used to be, but I still think you're looking at an hour. I would enjoy it and not worry.

If the park opens at 8, you will still likely get in a little early (10 or 15 minutes), so assume you will.

Line up early so you are at the head of the pack going in. They do not push the 8:20 people aside in anticipation of all the 8:05 and 8:10 people in line behind you. They are all about efficiency at that hour.

Pretend you have an 8:05 seating. Be there early. You will likely be done fairly close to 9.

Enjoy. We love starting our day at CRT! princess:

We were there on 12/14 for an hour or so. And it was perfect. Do not rush through the meal. It was the most special meal of our trip- the princesses spent a good amount of time with my daughter, and we made some special memories. I would arrive at MK at 8 and you'll go in the dining entrance since the park will probably be closed, unless it's emh. They'll probably let you check in at the restaurant, and get in line early for your picture with Cinderella. We had a 12:25 lunch reservation and they let us check in at 11:45.

I would recommend being at the gate no later than 7:40. They will let all the pre-park breakfast people in around 7:45 or 7:50.

This week we had an 8:20 CRT. We checked in at 8:05 and they took us in right away. No lineup for Cinderella, went straight upstairs, saw all princesses, ate, ready to rock by 9 and did not feel rushed. Bring a Tupperware dish to smuggle out your extra pastries tho :)

I would rather take time at that meal than rush out to get on a ride. CRT was the most memorable thing we did for our girls on our trip and the rides are all just things that are all forgettable to them. We have to remind them about all of them and they don't really care but can't wait to go back to the Castle.

My advice is don't get caught up in trying to see how many check-boxes you can fill for the day and enjoy the atmosphere.

This. Exactly

This. Exactly

I third it. The two biggest mistakes that newbies make is 1) not planning enough ( doesn't seem to be you); and 2) rushing around to the "next thing on their list" without taking the time to enjoy the thing they are actually doing. Don't fall into that trap. The attractions will still be there at 9:30.
