i'm 19 too and waaaaaay jealous. i'm so excited to hear the rest. subscribing!

Coolness! It looked like a wonderful ceremony full of warmth and love

4am wake up and no crocs? Colorful start to your adventure! Very cool that you still got to sit together on the plane ...and not to worry, the little speech they give is standard stuff. After a while you just phase it out and roll on. I'm happy you got past your sinus infection before you flew ...that could have been a painful trip

Smart move having your honeymoon ears in your carry-ons :thumbsup2 Despite some initial weirdness it sounds like you two have hit your stride. Here's to hoping everything else falls in place and that it is the trip of your dreams.

Looking forward to more! :thumbsup2

You have the same car as me! Pontiac Vibe right? I love my car. You're lucky you got to sit with your DH, people wouldn't give up their seat so I could sit next to mine going to WDW. I can't wait for more!

what airlines did you fly? df and i normally fly northwest and we ALWAYS get seats right next to each other.

We flew US Air on the way to Orlando and were unable to choose seats until check-in.... On the way back from Orlando we flew Delta and were able to choose our seats when we purchased our tickets.

Another update will be coming later on this evening :thumbsup2

Bless your heart...almost having to sit by yourself on your first ever flight. I'm so glad that nice lady agreed to switch! :)
The pics you took on the flight are beautiful!! I never would have thought to have taken pictures! :cloud9:
Once again, I can't wait to read more...you're off to a great start! :goodvibes

Following along and enjoying your trip report. The plane pics are amazing. We'll also be flying for the first time in May. Congratulations!!

Hooray! I've been waiting for your Trip Report ever since I read your pre-trip, which was awesome!

Your wedding pics are so beautiful -- I love your dress & your reception site!

I'm subscribing & can't wait to read more.

So glad that you got some pixie dust on your flight.:wizard: I can't imagine you having your first flight as a married woman and not being able to sit next to your husband.

I love your Just Married veil. That is so cute! :cutie:

I am glad I am not the only person who took pictures of the clouds while on the plane. ;) Actually my husband is really IN to weather and clouds so my dd said we really needed to take some pictures for daddy.

Too bad you didn't realize that there is a CROCS store in MCO. We found that out when we had a 2 1/2 delay for our flight back home. We looked in every store before we went through security. Before our flight took off, I had received 10 text messages from Delta. :scared1: I was beginning to wonder if we were even going to get home. It wasn't that the weather was bad at home, it was that there had been bad weather in Orlando the day we left. The first flight of the day got delayed getting out of Orlando, and then it was just a domino effect after that.

Can't wait to hear the rest. popcorn::

OK, so we wander around MCO until we find a sign that reads "this way to Disney's Magical Express". When we see this sign, this is me - And this is DH - :cool1: We go down the escalator, turn the corner, and see a line a thousand miles long. OH MY GOSH.... NO WAY!!!!! Suddenly, this is me - :scared1: and this is DH - :headache: A CM quickly ushered us to the line and told us to have our magical express info out and ready. I was thinking, yeah.... there's 200 people in front of us.... and I need to start looking for my stuff now why??? We figured we would be in line for over an hour and started to get a little agitated.... We were pleasantly surprised however when the line quickly diminished. We were in line no longer than 20 minutes and were being told where to go to wait for the bus. There was no one in line for the AKL/POP/CS bus yet, so DH and i took our spot at the front of the line. The CM there struck up a conversation with us and the surrounding people started playing 20 questions with us about our wedding. Shortly a line began forming behind us and within 15 minutes our Magical Express bus had arrived. We made our way out of the airport and were suddenly met by 70 degree weather. We were both in long sleeves, long pants, and jackets.... YES YES YES!!! We are NOT in 35 degree South Carolina anymore!!! Once we had settled in onto the bus, everyone around us began congratulating us and asking us questions about our wedding. We even met really young couple on our bus who were honeymooning at the POP. I intently watched the Disney Welcome video being played while DH rambled on and on about wanting to live in Florida because of the gorgeous weather. After driving for what seemed like four hours (yes, I am a three year old when it comes to traveling :confused3 ) we saw this glorious site!!!

We thought the same thing! We walked around the corner and saw this *huge* line and DH's face was like this  but worse! He sat down with the kids and I got in line, thinking the kids are going to go crazy and it's going to be a nightmare. But it only took about 15 min. to get up to the counter! Phew! The guy in front of me decided to leave after his son got a private car service for their large family - at $60/person! If he had waited just a few more minutes he would have been at the counter and saved all that money.

I'm loving your report so far! How exciting to honeymoon at WDW! :thumbsup2

......So we continued driving under that magical sign and continued onward to the Pop Century Hotel. We pulled up and immediately were fascinated by how detailed the resort was. It looked soooo cool and like a great place to stay in the future when we bring our children to WDW. We dropped off ALOT of people there including another honeymooning couple. After all the POPers were let off, we headed to Coronado Springs. As we turned into CS, we immediately LOVED it!!! The landscaping and buildings were so beautiful. We decided that if we do a moderate the next time we go to WDW, it will be CS. We let off a few more people and were left with about 6 people including DH and I. We traveled for a short while and then we saw the sign for Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!! If I were able to turn cartwheels I would at this point The grouds were beautiful - it really felt as if you were in the middle of Africa rather than busy Orlando!! The bus pulled up to the entrance and we made our way into the lobby. As soon as we stepped foot into the lobby both DH and I were awestruck!!! It was 100 times more beautiful in person than it is in pictures!!!! We walked over to the check-in desk and were immediately assisted by a friendly CM. During the check-in process we were given "Just Married" buttons and "1st Visit" buttons which we immediately put on our shirts. The CM gave us a map of the resort, told us about the restaurants, gave us a an activities guide, and gave us an animal guide. We then asked the CM if there were any King rooms available and he said no, but we could call tomorrow and find out if one became available. He then gave us our room number and circled the room on the map. I looked down and realized it was a Savannah View room!!!! DH and I had only booked a standard view room but were upgraded without even asking. We figured we could deal with two queen beds since we were given this upgrade!! We made our way down Zebra trail and then found our room.

Here's a few pics

What a perfect wedding present! A free upgrade! Those pictures look marvelous! We stayed at Pop while you were there, and I have to say, yours looks WAY better! It was fun for my daughter and I to stay at Pop, and I would stay there again, but you can't beat a deluxe! :thumbsup2

Hey and you got a towel animal! :thumbsup2 You had quite the wedding pixie dust going!

Great update! Yay for getting the upgrade at AKL. We are staying there for the first time for a weekend in February - your pictures look great.

By the way, POP is my favorite value and CSR is my favorite Moderate - glad you got to see them both on your bus ride! :)

Awww yay two updates in one day!!! Or at least I read them both today:) Hurray for finally arriving at the resort and having a savannah view upgrade...what great luck for you and df!!! Did you make the just married door hanger or did they put it there for you? I was just wondering b/c we're be honeymooning here and I was curious. I can't wait to hear more, but for now I'm going to go to bed. :goodvibes

Yeaaa, you finally made it to Disney...LOL!
Great updates!
It's so exciting that you got an upgrade. What a great wedding present!
Isn't it funny how Disney can really transport you to these faraway places. When we stayed at CBR last year, we really did feel like we were on a Caribbean island.
We took some time and went over to the AKL last year also, and I remember that it was really beautiful. You pictures are great!
