**Cinderella's Honeymoon**AKL**DxDDP**A Magical Time**

I'm so sorry to hear about your pregnancy difficulties. You had mentioned you have reproductive problems - do you have PCOS? If you do, you know that its source is insulin resistance. Your body just might be having a hard time adjusting. Hopefully it will get with the program, and quick! :goodvibes

I have PCOS and have 3 children. Just stick to your diet even if it infuriates you to have to give up the good stuff. And beware of hidden carbs!

Also, look at it this way: you could end up weighing LESS after the baby comes, and everyone will marvel at how quickly you get your figure back.

Best wishes for your completely healthy pregnancy!

Candee

I do have PCOS - which is a key reason I'm having sugar problems this early on. I wish I could continue losing weight, but my OB has told me she doesn't want me loosing any more - I've lost 10lbs now. I'm not really sure why, but I'm trying not to loose any more. Thanks for the best wishes!!

If it's any comfort to you, as long as your doctor says your baby and placenta are the right size, it's YOU that's losing the weight. Your baby is going to grow and thrive no matter what under most circumstances.

Good luck and enjoy this exciting time!

Hi, I just found your trip report tonight and really have enjoyed it so much!

Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy!! Woo hoo!!

Secondly, gestational diabetes is manageable. I know because I had it with my daughter and she was born perfectly healthy, happy and has no effects what so ever.
I had to use insulin the last two months of my pregnancy and although it was hard to do, it was worth it to keep my baby healthy! This was before ultrasounds and it was very scary!
I'll keep you in my prayers and I know you will do well! Soon you wont miss sugar as much. It is hard at first, but then it becomes easier!!!
Looking forward to updates!!!

I actually have no idea where I left off in my TR, but I'm pretty sure I finished January 12th. There really isn't too much to tell about our last day - January 13th. We went ahead and got up super early, took our luggage up front so that we could go ahead and get our bags weighed and get our boarding passes for the flight home, checked out, grabbed breakfast at the Mara and headed off to ALL of the parks!! We went to AK first and went on Expedition Everest again. Then we hopped over to Hollywood Studios for one last ride on the Tower or Terror and Rock-n-Rollercoaster. Epcot was up next and we rode Mission Space, Soarin, and Test Track. Last was The Magic Kingdom. I planned for about 2 hours at MK, so we just walked around hand in hand enjoying our last few hours at the most magical place on earth. We didn't ride anything, we just walked slowly and took it all it. We shared an ice cream cone in front of Cinderella's Castle, took a few last pictures, and headed back to the hotel. We got our carry ons that AKL had stored for us, took one last walk around the lodge, and headed for the ME bus. Once we boarded the ME bus it hit me that we were leaving and as we pulled out of the driveway at AKL a few tears left my eyes - sad, I know.... DH assured me we would be back soon and Mickey and Cinderella would be waiting on me :goodvibes We arrived at the airport only 30-40 minutes ahead of our flight, but we weren't worried because we had our boarding passes already. We got to the gate and realized that the people at AKL had printed our connecting flight's boarding passes and not this flight's passes.... We had to RUN all the way across the airport and print passes for this flight, go through security again, get our bags searched again, find the gate, and board the plane. We were seated 2 minutes before take off was scheduled - WHEW talk about cutting it close!!! We arrived in Atlanta after an uneventful flight and had a 2 hour layover so we had dinner and walked around the airport. We boarded our next flight and arrived home at 11:45pm. We went to baggage claim to get our luggage and waited, and waited, and waited, and WAITED.... NOTHING!! (we flew Delta FYI). We waited 45 minutes - still NOTHING!! There were about 75-100 people with NO LUGGAGE yet. Another 30 minutes went by and nothing. DH tried to find someone to talk to, but at almost 2am there really aren't too many people at the airport who care about your lost luggage. Finally a Delta representative came down at nearly 3am and explained that there was a mixup and our luggage had boarded another plane from Atlanta and would be here "momentarily". Momentarily turned into another hour and a half - turns out that momentary flight hadn't even left Atlanta yet.... We FINALLY got our luggage, left the airport and were home by 6am. Needless to say we crawled into bed and slept until WAY past noon!

We totally enjoyed out Disney honeymoon - it was everything I imagined it to be and so, so, so much more!! We can't wait to return!!

Thanks for reading along!!

Since my trip report is now concluded I thought I would give you all this link:

In case you didn't know, my September trip has been canceled due to my friend bailing out on me and my pregnancy complications. I don't want to push myself 6 months pregnant and temp fate - my baby is WAY more important!! We are however returning to the world in October 2009 :goodvibes Me, my hubby, our baby, and my mom and dad will be going! It will be here before we know it! The link is to my NEW PTR for the October trip - I'll no longer be updating my September PTR. I'll also update regarding my pregnancy and the baby on my October PTR :lovestruc My morning sickness is MUCH better and I promise to be around more and update FREQUENTLY!!!!

Sounds like a nice last day...well as nice as the last day of any honeymoon can be! Minus the luggage issue of course. I tried to subscribe to your new PTR, but it said it wasn't accepting replies, and wouldn't let me subscribe. :confused3

Hmmm I wonder why.... Maybe give it another try....

Thanks so much for finishing up your honeymoon TR, you had a great last day! Your way of visiting each park and riding rides was such a neat way to end it and then just relaxing at the Magic Kingdom as a finale. I think we will try that next time around, we usually just hang out at Downtown Disney and do last minute shopping. Boring I know!

Glad to hear your morning sickness has subsided, that must have been awful! And what a great trip to look forward to in October '09, with your new addition! Have a great trip!

It was a GREAT way to end our trip - I highly recommend it!!! :goodvibes

that is why I do not fly Delta anymore. My friends and I flew Delta on our Senior spring break trip to Ft Lauderdale. They lost our luggage on the way down and on the way home. We were not happy!! And we also had connections through Alanta. THe only way I will ever fly Delta again is if it is a direct flight. When we got back to our home airport the shuttle driver taking us to our car said Delta stood for
D-Don't
E-Expect
L-Luggage
T-To
A-Arrive

ITs funny because its True!

I think it's because it was created in the "Completed Trip Reports" section instead of the PTRs. That section doesn't allow replies. Maybe a moderator can move it?

The mod moved the wrong PTR to the completed section for me - she fixed it now!! It should work for you guys now :cool1:
