Has anyone used Cinderella's coach or seen it lately? My Disney coordinator told me it's pulled by only four ponies, not six as stated on their web site.

I wonder if it is less expensive with only 4 ponies!?!?
If that is the case, I may be able to fit it into my budget with one horse!?!?:rotfl2:
I wonder of I could get some of the groomsmen to help out!

We had it this past weekend and I believe it was 6 ponies!! I don't have any pictures back and the whole thing is somewhat of a blur but I really think it was 6! hmmm!!

Wow, I don't know what to believe! My Intimate Coordinator told me yesterday there are only four ponies and the price is still $2700. I'm sure the ride feels the same, but the pictures are less breathtaking after you've seen six. :confused3

I really hope they haven't changed it. We are using Cinderella's Coach in our VR and I think it looks wonderful with six ponies. Although, I find it a little difficult to be really disappointed- I'm just thrilled out of my mind to be able to have my VR at Disney :)

Hi all,
I am the one in the recent wedding vow renewal that you saw the pictures of, Taz foto etc. Because I just so recently experienced it I will tell you what I think. The coach is gorgeous (also responding to a thread that said a while back that the coach was not looking all to good up close and personal)
really it was absolutely amazing, and I really did not notice at the time that we only had 4 ponies my husband told me that when we were already back!!:rotfl: I still am so glad that I did the cindy coach I must say it adds so much magic I really felt like I was a princess and if you are able to do it I would really recommend it! Its like the whole world is at a standstill and everybody stops what they are doing and wave and congratulate you and they stop and take pictures its the most amazing experience ever. I would never trade that for anything! My kids who were the jr.bridesmaid, the flowergirl and ringbearer also got to go in it and take pictures and they are also still talking about it.:wizard:
Hope this helps good luck:thumbsup2

Little tinkerbell, I saw the sneak peek of your VR online at STVS's web site, your ceremony was the only one that I really liked because you chose most of the things that I plan to have at my ceremony as well. You and your family looked so good, the flowers were so gorgeous!! I just wanted to ask since I know who you are now, did everything go smoothly considering it was only a few of you in attendance, also I would like to know where the cake reception was held.

Thanks

Kim

Ps: how did the rest of your guests/wedding party get to the wedding pavilion?

I really hope this isnt true. I am going to my planning session on Friday and I will be sure to ask. I agree that the 6 ponies really makes the coach look more complete. I may consider cancelling it if it is only the 4 :(

Please let us know what they say! The coach was the thing I was most looking forward to. It will be very disappointing if they raised the price AND reduced the ponies. :sad2:

I just got married on the 14th and the carriage had all 6 ponies when I used it so I am pretty sure that they still use all 6.. Here is a picture of them.....

I hope that this helps to set your mind at ease some. I am not sure why they would have it with 6 at some and 4 at another, but I do know at mine there were 6.

I read another thread about this and I heard that the reason for the 4 ponies was because if one is sick/hurt/unable to pull the coach then they have to make it an even number and only have 4 (cause it would look silly with 5 ;-) ) ... I don't know how true it is - just repeating what I heard.

Maybe the REALLY skinny people get 4 since they are so light ;)

Although if that were the case I would need more than 6, lol

You're saying they don't have backups? I'm surprised Disney doesn't have more than one Cinderella coach and spare ponies! Just like how they probably have at least a dozen costumes of every major character (wouldn't it be funny if you tried to hire two or three Mickeys to your wedding instead of the standard Mickey and Minnie?). They cut themselves very thin if they only have one coach and exactly six ponies.

Take the landau coach for instance. It's pulled by one horse. If they only have one coach and one quarter horse, any breakdown would cause you to lose that service. In my dreamy world of Disney, they'd have backups and spares.

I'm desperate to know - do we get full horse power or not? And has the price definately been raised?

I looked on the Disney Weddings Website today and it says with Cinderella's Carriage you get 6 Welsh ponies and the price has increased to 2,700.00. That is on their new web info.
