We went to this breakfast 2yrs ago and we loved it. We thought the food was very good and the interaction with the princesses was terrific. I tried for 4 days to get a ps for this breakfast for our trip last week. I finally got a ps for 8:10 on Wed. Dec 3. 1st, the line for the ps line to get into the park was very long. They didn't start letting people into the park until 8 which made us really have to hustle to get to the castle. It was 8:13 when we checked in. We were shown to our table right away and brought coffee. Our waiter told us what was being served and then left to get our food. While he was gone the 1st princess showed up. She quickly signed the autograph books and then told my dd's to stand for a picture. There was no conversation really, except to ask 1 dd where we were from. She left the table and the food came. As soon as the food was put on the table another princess showed up and then they came one right after each other. At one point, 2 of them were at the table and had us get a picture with them both at the same time. Snow White was preoccupied with a little girl from the table next to us. She kept looking over at her and waving. When I took the picture, I had to ask Snow White to look our way. We felt very rushed! Within a few minutes out interaction was over and our breakfast was cold. The food was only fair. Our waiter never asked if we needed anything else. He forgot to bring my dd's milk that she asked for and finally brought it as we were finishing our meal. We didn't think that this was worth the $65 or the time it took to get the ps. We will stick to Chef Mickey next time. This is the 1st trip we didn't go to Chef Mickey for breakfast and we wished we went.

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with CRT. I'm a bit worried after reading your post because we've never been to CRT (or WDW for that matter) and have a PS for 8:10am on one of the days of our trip. You would think the princesses would either come before food was served or wait until a table is finished. If your food is cold, can you ask the waiter for a new plate???? I'd hate for my entire family to get cold breakfast after spending all of that money.

Thanks for sharing your review. Sorry to hear that the experience wasn't enjoyable. :(

Sorry to hear you that you didn't have a good breakfast experience.

We also had a 8:10 a.m. PS for CRT and we LOVED this time. The food was very fresh and the princesses were not rushed the day we were there. I would encourage you to ask for a fresh plate of food if your food gets cold - and you can always flag another waiter down (politely, of course), if you are getting poor service from your waiter. I guess it just depends on the day.

Have never had a problem at CRT. Have been there several times, and more than once during the same vacation. My preferred tie for CRT is actually as late as possible. I find that the princesses spend more time with the children because there are no more tables to usher in.
As for early seatings, security has always let us in early, if we show them we have PS at one of the restaurants.
Sorry to hear you did not have an enjoyable time. This is one of my kid's favorite places to eat.

We went to CRT beginning of Nov. I felt the princesses were rushed also. But the reason we were there was my 5 yr old niece and she was in heaven. 2 days after we did Chef Mickeys, the characters spent much more time with our table. Chef Mickeys would be my choice unless someone in my party loves the princesses. Food at both was ok, nothing I would go back for.

My Daughter loved this breakfast! I on the other hand did feel really rushed. The food was alright I guess but the interaction is what I mainly paid for.

I had a problem with the Character Breakfast Vouchers ( I know I am probably the only one). The waiter rung us out and said that we were good to go but then I asked where did I get confirmation that my deposit would be refunded to my credit card. He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "I have no proof that you paid a deposit"

Well everyone knows that you have to pay a deposit in order to hold the reservation. So when we went back to our room I called Disney Dining and they looked up my reservation and credited my account with no hassle.

I am glad that I did the experience once for her but I dont know that we will do it again in the next few years.

My daughter got the most character interaction with the fairy godmother at the bottom of the stairs after the meal. The rest of the characters really didnt have time to talk to her.

We had an 8:10 PS on Thanksgiving morning. We didn't feel rushed with the characters at all. We had two tables together- 11 people - 3 girls and a boy(2 1/2). Each princess spent time with the kids and made pictures of the kids all together and then of the two sets of siblings. They each talked to the kids a lot. My 2 1/2 DS got a lot of attention- left with lipstick all over his face!
We did not get into the park early like we had in years past- let us in at 8:00 like everyone else. We were unhappy about this b/c our PS was at 8:10 and we had to get strollers. CMs didn't seem to care.
The food was OK- not at all why we go here. I don't even think I ate a lot b/c I was busy with the kids. Yes, we had 2 princesses at one time. This was OK with us though, one princess took one set of siblings and the other took the other siblings. My DD 4 was in heaven though to be in-between Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.
I think you have to go to this restaurant with certain expectations. We know that the princesses have been known to be rushed before- but they weren't. We know the food gets mixed reviews- agian, not why we come here. It is a magical experience for us. My DD and nieces wouldn't trade anything in the world for eating breakfast in the castle with Cinderella and her friends. Therefore, I would trade nothing in the world for it. And my DS thought it was cool too- of course, I know he will soon outgrow this.
Anyway, sorry your experience wasn't everything you expected. I think everyone should do this once and if you have princess fans- every trip!

Thanks for your review Tink2. My DD (6) is going to be thrilled about going into the castle and meeting the princesses. I won't worry about the food. Hey, we can always get something later.:D
