What posture did you take while watching this?

Sitting, Crouching or Standing?
Also, can you tell me what determined how (your position/posture) you watched the show?

I will go in-depth about my question a little later, but I want to see what others have to say.

We had a spot right in the front, so we stood. The stage is kind of high so I think if we sat we wouldn't be able to see as well.
hope that helps :teeth:

It depended on the crowd. Most of the time the crowd was standing. Once in a while, however, the people in front sat so it was either sit or stand far back. I preferred to stand because I liked to be up close and I could see better. I have show pictures from up front. If you go to my website listed in my signiture, you can see the pictures (They come up too big if I post them).

The poll shows most people stand. Which is what we did.

We were there in June and when we came out of CRT, we went to see Cinderellabration. We were one of the first ones there and chose the middle, but a little to the left. The ground was a little damp up front from the morning rain (just a little) so we stood. As others starting coming in, those on the left sat and those on the right stood. As the show was beginning to start, people behind us a ways back were yelling "sit down" or "sit down so everybody can see"....well, I did not sit. Mostly because I could not see over the wall when I was sitting.

Anyway, it was not a big deal, but common sense tells me that if it was intended that we all sit during that show, stadium seating would have been installed.

I agree with bytheblood. I also stood in front off to the left. Right before the show started people yelled to sit down. There are no signs saying you have to sit down. Also, if we had sat down my DD3 could not have been able to see. I was standing before the show. So why should someone come sit down behind me then yell at me to sit down so THEY can see. My DD and I had a great view. I would stand there again. My DH sat because he was worn out, but he did say he felt like he missed some of the show.

If you sit you really can't see the show. It wasn't really designed for sitting.

You must have had some crabby people that day. Very seldom do I see people sitting for that show.

Maybe it was the heavy CRT breakfast :confused3 and the rain. :umbrella:

It all depends on the crowds. If people are standing at the beginning, then people will stand. BUT- if people, even a few people, are sitting in the front, then people are going to sit. That makes for a very annoying show because it is VERY hard to see from the ground. I don't think the stage was designed in mind for people to sit. It's just too high. And the bad part is that people get very cranky if people are standing in front. The point is, if you want to stand-GET THERE EARLY!!

I sat right at the hub with my shoes off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:
My feet were a hurting that day!

The Crowd was standing, so it would have been hard to see any other way.

we saw this show 5 times during our June visit and for a couple of them we sat and had no problem seeing but we did not sit right in front either as it would have been very difficult to see. A couple of shows we stood. DD then 5 wanted to sit but everyone else was standing so she would not have been able to see. The other show we started out sitting but then the people in front stood and then the sitting people were yelling and since they happened to be next to us we got up and moved away and stood for the rest.

It only makes sense to stand for Cinderellabration. It is very hard to see clearly when you're sitting. I've been there numerous times and heard obnoxious people yelling at others to 'sit down.' There is no rule that you have to 'sit'--and if people are standing while they're waiting for the show to start, I don't know why people would assume they're going to sit during the performance. Now, if people are sitting while waiting for the show to begin and then they stand up at the opening music, I can see where that would annoy others--but even then, there's no rule saying you MUST sit.

I sat... and it was sort of hard to see... I was too close for sitting... but I have too much back pain standing up for long periods of time.
