Oh yes they do. It didn't show up on my statement for a few weeks, but it did eventually.

Actually, the OP is on the dining plan, if you're on the dining plan, then they just take the info and charge you for the cost of the meal if you don't show up.

If you're not on the dining plan, then they charge you up front...

(Blondie - if you're looking for ideas, I would suggest Le Cellier late in the evening, Mama Melrose's with the Fantasmic dinner package, or Portofino's at Downtown Disney...)

mrp4352, I went back and read the prior posts and realized that if you're on the DP that they don't charge you. I guess that's just one of the advantages of the DP.

Thanks for the recommendations. :thumbsup2 We're leaning towards Coral Reef as we've never eaten there before.

i DID apply for a credit card-Disney Visa-and i got the denial mail that morning lol. So I came up with a solution right after I wrote this thread but unfortunatly I didnt have time yesterday to tell everyone  I got a visa check card at my bank. It's accepted as a credit card but there is instant approval.

Sorry you were declined, but I am glad you figured something out. It's important you get a credit rating and start using credit wisely. It is so convenient and an absolute neccessity if you are renting a car or something.

Good Luck!

Unfortunately, this wont work...they need a CC with a Name & address attached to it.

Do you have a checking/savings acct with a Debit card? If so most debit cards have a VISA or MasterCard logo on them. Thats pretty much all you can do. Good Luck

You can get an address attached to the American Express one, just call them.

I had to pay in full for everyone eating at CRT in magic kingdom.

If you don't have a credit card, perhaps try one of those preloaded MC/Visa deals. You know, buy a prepaid credit card at the local currency exchange or bank.

I am making my reservations now... My bf and I wanted to have dinner by ourselves at Cinderella's Royal Table and we cannot because we don't have a credit card! They require a card be put down andthe person whose card it is has to be there eating! :guilty: :sad2: Im so upset. Has anybody else ever encountered this? I was hoping there was something we could do about it but the guy on the phone says there isnt... :confused3
just wondering if anybody knows any way i can get around this although i doubt there was... you never know sometimes people have tricks
