Cinderella RT needs some adjustments!

Just got off the phone with Disney Dining Reservations (called twice!):
Because of the change on Febuary 1st, some people were just charged for their meal and not their pictures when reservations were made. So that is why some people may be "charged" for photos upon arrival. (But I personally like the comp idea better!)

OK...Here's the scoop:

Cinderella's Royal Table for Breakfast:
Cinderella attends breakfast
Two Table Service if on Dining Plan or 10+ $31.99 and 3-9 $21.99 plus tax and tip for pre-plated breakfast paid at time of reservation.
24 hour cancel policy or $10 per person charged to CC on file with Disney.
Photo package includes four 4x6's and one 6x8 photo of guests with character and one 6x8 photo of the castle.

I hope this helps some!

I was under the impression that Cinderella didn't actually attend the breakfast. Rather, she was stationed in the lobby for the pics. Does that still sound correct? And is it still a princess breakfast, meaning that there will definitely be other princesses at the actual breakfast.

Apologies for dragging this on, but even when reading everyones messages here, I am still confused as to: Is the picture package included in the price of the CRT Breakfast (31.99) or a separate charge (29.99)? I am hearing it two ways, depending on how I read it.

Regards

From what I understand, when the new pricing went into effect the price of the photos is included in the price of breakfast. I was also told the Cinderella "greets" you prior to the breakfast, which makes me believe she does not visit during the breakfast.

Yes, I heard the same thing about the sword and the wand and that is given at the lunch. The lithograph is given at dinner. I agree, for $39 for dinner the pics and a lithograph should be included. It's bad enough we have to pay in advance. Think of all the interest they are making on our money!!!!!!

Cinderella's Royal Table for Lunch:
Cinderella attends lunch and same terms as above, but 10+ $33.99 and 3-9 $22.99 for pre-plated lunch. Same photo package as above, no swords or wands given.

I'm getting a little confused now (nothing new there!!), but the 2 quotes above are conflicting. Does anyone know for sure if there are swords and wands given at lunch, or is it just breakfast?? :confused3

Thank you..........

I thought I was confused before! So do you get the sword and wand?? Don't try to call Disney dining because they don't know anything either, unless certain reps know and some don't. I have already spoken to two different dining reps and one said the photographs are included and then another tells me they are not and that the photo package starts at $29.95 plus tax.

We really need to hear from those who went.

My guess here is that if you booked the breakfast for after Feb. 1, BUT you booked it BEFORE the price change, you have the option of PURCHASING the pictures. I'm sure Disney has it on your ADR when you booked and what price you paid. IF you booked after the price changed, then your pics are included. I guess this will be a bit confusing until all patrons are paying the new price.

DDE is no longer excepted at CRT as of 2/1. HOWEVER, you never no if it will change back with Disney??

What happened to Wands????

What a mess!

Actually, CRT is still on the list on the DDE 2006 restaurant list and many have reported getting the discount initially OR calling back after the fact to get the 20% credit on their CC.

So call and try and get the discount if you didn't the first time.

The photo package should be free for all 3 meals. I think since this is SO new, many are getting false info from CMs who are a bit confused by the newness of this experience.

That sounds like a good reason! Now if they were taking the pics before the new prices went into effect then charging for them would make sense. I too agree that since this is very new alot of the dining reps probably have no clue what the package is.

On 1/31 I booked the new CRT dinner for our upcoming March trip. I was told that DDE IS accepted and was charged the DDE price on my CC. I was also told that the photo package IS included in that price. But now I have seen a couple of posts that suggest Cinderella is NOT there for photos at dinner - so what is the the photo of your family with? Just your family? I knew there were no princesses greeting at the dinner, but was hoping for the photo with Cindy on the way in.......

This is the "official" copy from Disney on the CRT dining now:
Hope this helps,

Good info on the pics. I'm still waiting for someone to tell what the menu was for dinner -- was it any good? I'll be there next Tuesday. This new dinner and pics thing just started and info is sketchy! :confused3

Doting Gram - did you like the dinner? What was the menu like? Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply. My 4y GD was thrilled about everything, including the dinner. We were 5 adults and my GD. The 5 adults all ordered different appetizers, entrees and desserts. We agree that the food was good but wouldn't rave about it. The dinner show with Suzy, Perla and the Fairy Godmother was pretty lackluster. None of the characters really interacted with the guests, but sort of flitted about making it difficult to get pictures. No autographs -- we asked and we told no. Again --- my GD LOVED it. I'm glad we went, but probably would not go again. Oh, one other thing -- the photos with Cinderella were beautiful and were indeed included in the price of the meal. Because there were 6 in our party we received 2 photo packages and were permitted to choose one with Cinderella and my GD and one with the entire family.

After three CRT meals - the faldorol is not worth it. And the food is so so. There are soooo much better meal options around WDW that I would not do this again. Everyone to his own.

I posted this at another "Cindy's Dinner" thread. It is kind of freaky wondering who will be in the pictures! Even this link doesn't say anything who will be in the picure. It may just be the family by a castle themed wall much like "Medieval Times" restaurants.

This link explains what photos you get with the package and the meal provided. (Another member already posted the photo info but it is nice to see the Menu at last!)

Menu sounds ok but not sure if worth 2TS or $40 a person??? I wanted this dinner for my first time at WDW and will review it with that in mind after I return.
