I was lucky enough to be able to get a 9:30pm reservation next month for dinner at CRT. I really would have breakfast or lunch there but I cant be too chosey. lol So, is Cinderella the only princess there? Does she mingle with the dinner guests? Is the food good? Will my 5 yr old daughter enjoy this?? I read that there are mainly adults for the dinner- is that true?? She will be dressed as Snow white (Going to the BBB) so I would love to get pics of her with the other princesses. Not sure how my 10 yr old son will like this.. lol
Thanks for any responses..:cheer2:

The answer to this is going to depend on the date of your reservation. In either case Cinderella will be in the "lobby" for pictures to be taken (photo package is included in the price of the meal). If your reservation is before February 7, upstairs there will be no circulating princesses, but a sort of floor show featuring the Fairy Godmother and the mice, Suzy and Perla. If your reservation is February 7 or after, there will be circulating princesses (we don't know which princesses, but not Cinderella - she'll be downstairs with the photographer.) I would imagine that after Feb. 7, when they start having princesses at dinner too, you will see more children at dinner.

We ate here the night after our wedding in November 2008 and just loved it. I definately think your duaghter will just love it. The food was very good (although we did not eat off the kids menu). We met with Cinderella downstairs before dinner. This is us with our bridal party.

And then caught the show upstairs with the Fairy Godmother and the mice. They ask if you are celebrating anything and make a big fuss about it. Loads of fun.

We got the Chocolate Buckle for dessert and it was just wonderful.

9:30 is alittle late for dinner but anytime you can get in Cinderella's castle is great.

We snagged a 9:30 reservation for dinner this summer. We are very excited as wishes is at 10:00 and I think it will be a great atmosphere. Hope you have a great time! :goodvibes

I can't comment on the characters, but DH got that time for our dinner and it was awesome! We got to watch the entire fireworks show right outside the window next to our table. Also, make sure if its a special event you tell them. We were there for our honeymoon and let them know. They ended up bringing us a pair of engraved champagne flutes for free as a wedding gift. Gotta love the Disney magic...

we went for a 9pm dinner december 08 (3 weeks before my granddaughter turned 5) and had a great time. we also went december 09 for lunch. dinner is different from the lunch experience (lunch is like what you get at the breakfast in norway if that helps) with a bunch of the princesses floating around and taking pictures. the dinner had two mice and the fairy godmother and was more of a show, when we were there all three dinner characters circulated the room taking pics. both experiences were fun. cinderella was in the downstairs lobby taking photos for both events. if your family is totally into the cinderella characters not just the princesses in general then try 1900 park fare... they have the step sisters, the step mother, cinderella, and prince charming. the step sisters were hands down the FUNNIEST character experience we've EVER had.

Wow I didn't know they were changing it. My DD ate the dinner here when she was 5 and she enjoyed it, although not as much as the lunch with all of the princesses.

My husband thought the dinner menu was way better than the lunch menu - although there was no change in the kids menu.

Linda- thanks so much for sharing your pictures... they are awesome!!!! The only event is that it is my daughters first time at Disney... would they do anything special for that?? My daughter loves the Princesses, Halloween 2009 she was Snow white and Halloween 2008 she was Cinderella. lol
So , i know the experience will be magical if the other princesses will be around. We plan to be there mid February. :cheer2:

Question for all you who have eaten here... I thought that I read (awhile back) that it was a buffet, but looking at the menu it is a sit down dinner. Is this correct? Is it worth the 2 TS if on the DDP?
We have eaten at 1900 PF and enjoyed that but I am looking for something new for the next trip.

Thank you all!

Hey - being in Disney is enough to celebrate. Make sure to get her a "First Visit" button and have her wear it at all times.

You can get the button from any Guest Services location - either at one of the parks, a resort or even DTD. Notice the button on my DH's shirt - that is a Just Married button - the First Visit button is like that - only it says First Visit. Not sure when you are going and how often they change buttons but they also have one that says something like Celebrating.

We just had dinner at CRT and I have to say that this time I really enjoyed it. We had breakfast a few years ago and was not too impressed so the next visit we changed to dinner at our middle daughter's insistance. It too was only OK to me but when we choose dining this time she choose it again as her pick and I thought it was delicious. I had the wedge salad and pork chops and garlic mashed potatos. The chops were fabulous and my mouth is watering now just thinking about them. Hope you enjoy too.

Me and DF had lunch there a few years ago, and all the princess were there. They did circulate around the room. We had a short chat with each and DF got a picture with them all. I think all the princesses will be there soon for dinner too. I think your little girl will love it! Especially if all the princesses are there, I couldn't think of a better place to go after going to BBB. The food was ok, not the best but I thought it was a good value for the price, which included a picture of the castle and with Cinderella. To me just being in the castle was really neat, and we got a great table overlooking fantasyland, I would ask for a window table.
