Cinderella Royal Table Birthday Surprise

For my trip in August, I will be dining with a few of my friends in CRT for lunch. It just happens to be one of my friend's birthday while we are in Disney, so the rest of us thought it would be a good idea to surprise her with this lunch. When I made the reservation and said that it was my friend's bday, I was given a phone number to call to arrange a surprise for my friend. I am curious as to who has celebrated a birthday/special occasion in the Castle before and what surprises you received.

A few years ago we had dinner in the Castle to celebrate the birthday of my brother's DMIL. He called ahead to make arrangements. Our table was sprinkled with sparkly confetti, and our server brought out a small birthday cake with a candle and a commemorative certificate signed by Tinkerbell. It was very nice. I don't think there was a charge.
