Cinderella dinner at GF?

I just tried to make PS for the princess breakfast at Epcot and got shut out. The reservationist suggested a Cinderella Dinner at the Grand Floridian. I made a PS, but don't know much about it. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with it? Is it worth the trek?

I don`t know how good it is, but we have adr`s for nov 18th for my birthday dinner, and I think I`m more excited than my DD-10! LOL

I'm going 12/5 and was told Cindarella and Prince Charming come to the tables, Fairy Godmother greets you at the door and there are chestnuts roasting by a Charles Dickens era gentleman. Sounded fun. I've read some reviews and thery are mixed (as character meal reviews tend to be - seems like it depends on how well the characters interact, etc.). Enjoy!

We've been a couple of times and really enjoyed it. I found the food quite good--for a buffet. I really like the strawberry soup! The character interaction is quite pleasant. I can't say it's on our "must do everytime" list, but it certainly was a nice time and I'm sure we'll do it again.

The GF is a beautiful resort and I have never had a bad experience at 1900 Park Fare. We were just there last week and had the character dinner buffet. Cinderella, Prince Charming, Pearla and Susie came around to the tables to greet us and the Fairy Godmother was at the door as we left. I really enjoy the PF meals as we never feel rushed and the characters are always so sweet. The buffets (breakfast or dinner) are really good. I enjoyed trying the strawberry soup last week. I know it's not for everyone, but I thought it was very unique. The super.....fragalistic breakfast buffet was fun too!

The food quality was great, characters were wonderful. It was well worth the price to meet Prince Charming, and I must say, he really was. (charming, that is. Whenever anyone sees our pictures, they want to know who the hunk is.)

We really enjoyed seeing the resort, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the food, and the character interaction. My daugther told Prince Charming he was "just DREAAAAAAAMYYYY" (swooned).

another fan of the stawberry soup. I really like 1900 park fare. There isn't as many charaters (Cindy, PC, 2 mice and FG at the door.) but it is fun and the food is REALLY good. I think it is a much better dinner for your money then Norway (I won't do that again, even for Areil.)

We aren't going this next trips since DD is allergic to milk meaning mommie can't have it until she is weened. If I can't have the soup, I think I would rather wait until I can.

We were there 2 years ago and it was wonderful. Cinderella took a liking to my son who was 6 at the time. She kept coming over and touching his head/hair and making him blush. After about 30 minutes of her coming and going, Prince Charming came over and said that he was getting jealous of all the attention my son was getting!! Boy did he blush!!! He didn't know what to say, so I said "how about a picture with all 3 of you Prince Charming?" and so we did. It was a wonderful dinner that we will all remember fondly. The food was great too
