Hi!
I was looking at the Cake Chatter Thread and saw several pictures of this delicious looking Cinderella Chocolate Slipper Dessert. I noticed, however, that most of the pictures were from Cinderella's Royal Table. I was wondering if this was the only place where the dessert was available? Are there other locations where you can order the slipper?

What can you change about the flavor and look of the slipper when you order it?

Hi Miss Marie!

The slipper is not only at CRT, but it's also available at 1900 Park Fare (Home of the Cinderella dinner) at the Grand Floridian.

There are differences in the slipper, depending on where you order it. The one from CRT has a layer of cake underneath it (to symbolize the pillow the slipper was on in the movie) and has berries on the plate as well. The 1900 Park Fare one features the slipper plus a little chocolate sculpture (or that's what I've seen)

You can get a white chocolate, or dark chocolate slipper as the base. Then they'll fill the slipper with the type of mousse you choose for it. I think the mousse has berries atop it.

The dessert is one of Disney's specialty desserts, but it's only around $15, which is a good deal, especially for such a cute dessert!

Hope I could help!

Mmm, the slipper sounds yummy!

So, the only real difference between the slippers at the two places is a bed of cake and some berries? Doesn't sound like such a loss.

$15 is a nice price! It sounds sweet.

More Q's:
Is the slipper big enough for only one person, or can it be shared? I just want to know because we might not be able to spend $30 on two desserts.

What do you do to order the slipper? Is it on the menu or must you call in advance?

Pics and reviews of the slipper would be nice as well!

The slipper is available at all GF restaurants, not just 1900 PF, as well as restaurants at the CR.

I think it can be shared easily but it isn't huge. Just enough for my family to each have a nibble. It is not on the menu and MUST be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. Call the cake hotline - the number is on the front page of the cake chatter thread.

I just ordered one through Pat for our tea at Garden View Tea Room. It is the $15, and it will be the slipper, mousse inside, strawberries on top, and then a message written in chocolate around the rim of the plate.
I think you can order it for any restaurant in the Grand Floridian.
