I am very excited about our trip in January. I was up late (actually early this morning) reading all about how difficult, near impossible to get advanced reservations for Cinderella's breakfast or lunch.

1) How difficult is it?
2) Not staying on site so I can only book 90 days out - true??
3) Any helpful hints for getting a reservation?

We are only going to the Magic Kingdom for 1 day because we are on the Disney cruise. Any other dining ideas for the day? We have two girls 4 and 6.

Hoping you can relieve my distress!!!

:confused3

There's a sticky advice thread at the top of the Restaurants Forum. That would probably be your best bet for good advice. Remember, if you can't get Cindy's, there's also the Princess meals in Norway in Epcot.

Good luck.

Go to page 112 in the sticky re: Cindy's Breakfast on the restaurant forum. It has the best advice for calling.

Thanks for your advice - read all the posts and will have my home phone, my cell, my husband's cell, and my mom's cell charged and ready to go! :cool1:

Just remember if you have multiple people trying to call for you to make sure it is book and on a credit card of someone that is attending because they check. We had no trouble getting ressies for Jan 2004 but it wasn't a desired time. However we are going in September and had alot of trouble. It took three tries. We actually need to add a extra person to our reservation and can not. I have been calling every day for the past month.

What would be considered a least desirable breakfast time at CRT? I am flexible and would prefer to just make sure we get to CRT for breakfast, I really don't care what time.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Suzy V.

Hi Riu girl,

We're heading down in October with my DS (8) and my DD (2.5) and she is an absolute Princess freak! I called at 10.30, a few days after our "window" had opened - I believe they've actually added days to the 90, permitting you to call even earlier. I was trying for the Saturday (October 29). The first available day was for lunch on November 2, which I took. I asked for the latest available seating and got 2.30 - I've read somewhere that you were better off taking a late seating as the characters aren't as rushed; the later reservations don't have to worry about the characters moving on to new arrivals, because there aren't any more new arrivals after a certain point (about an hour before the end of breakfast and lunch, IIRC).

Hope that helps - I'll post a trip report when I get back, if I come back at all! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

When we went during spring break this year, I had to get up at 3:57am to start calling, since we live on the west coast. This went on for 3 days straight, since I had no luck getting through. I finally got through on the 4th day. And, as luck would have it, I got a really nice CM on the phone who took pity on me and the early, early mornings that I had to get up to try to get this CRT ressie. He "found" me a 9am ressie on a Saturday morning for CRT breakfast. My tip to you is to keep calling. There are always cancellations or people changing their itineraries...there are some very nice CMs out there who may just happen to work harder to try and find you something...so you may luck out too. Good luck and some pixie dust to you so you can do this wonderful thing for your little girls!

Our time was 10:35. We would have prefered something earlier since our dd gets up early and like and early breakfast.

This might of changed but I when I went last year, LUNCH time was not a character meal... Cinderella was in the lobby of the castle for pictures and autographs but there is nobody else " doing the table" at lunch. I'm pretty sure it's only at breakfast & dinner.

The Princess Storybook in Epcot Norway is also really great (we done that one 2 times)- There are 5 princess there. loved it!

I just called the Disney CM today (Saturday 8-13-05). She said that there is now a Cinderella Character Breakfast and Lunch in the castle. I think the Breakfast was so difficult to get into that they added the lunch too. I will begin calling tomorrow morning at 6:50 AM. It is a bit crazy...but I think my family will really like dining in the castle. That is my main reason. Last year we ate with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare and it was really a great meal. :flower: Cinderella sat down with my daughter and spent a lot of time with her! It was REALLY MAGICAL!! :wizard: I am hoping that I will get a reservation tomorrow morning and we will like it just as well. I'm not going to get bent out of shape though. I have to think of the alternatives, like the Princess breakfast in Epcot. We will have a lot of choices. Disney has soooo many choices! CAN'T WAIT!!! :Pinkbounc
