The church is beautiful! How odd to go through a Cafe to get to it though.

I wonder if they were looking for a mate for the cow? or showing the cow depressed without a boy? I don't know...that is an odd one.

I love the train pulling the logs. Great shot!

Now we had our seats and before I sat down I noticed we had a table with a map.

Here is myself and Lorraine. See how I cut myself shaving that morning.

We were off.

A little close to the road.

And the climb begins.

Some of the scenery we saw along the way.

The part I did not like was how close to the edge we were.

Looking out the window at the train.

Looks like tomato plants.

Church up on a hill.

Some workers.

Now we reached an area where we had to do a turn.

As we were making the turn we passed here.

Now we were heading up again.

Beautiful town we passed.

Vinny was sitting with Ron but Ron kept going up to the area ahead of us to stick his head out the window to take pics so I took one of Vinny.

Then we came to a stop here.

The reason we came to a stop was this. A train coming down the mountain.

Then it was passing us. I do have 11 more pics of it as it came down. LOL.

Then I saw this waterfall in the distance.

We started chugging our way up again.

I have no clue what this was.

A lot of firewood which I am sure is needed in the winter.

This was parked next to the tracks.

I think I am going to stop here as there is plenty more to come as we ride up the alps and next we pass a lake that was gorgeous.

Loving your TR so far and I'm glad you decided to put it on the DIS. I am not quite caught up yet.

What a nice uneventful flight. I am a map geek so I am sure I would pass the time looking at the maps and stats.

You really had a full travel day. Yay for making it to 6pm and getting up so darn early the next day.

I love each and every picture of that gorgeous church. Just fabulous. The statues and architecture are just unbelievable.

Hope to get caught up soon.

We left off at we were approaching lake which I thought was gorgeous and photos probably won't do it justice but here they go.

Not sure if this building was the train station and if it is than that is funny.

I would love to be sitting there right now just staring out.

I could live in that house.

I guess this was the town we were passing through.
