My cousin has had 2 convertables. She loved the first one so much she bought another.
One of DH's friends mother had a big problem with one. They had a pretty bad accident due to a mechanical problem. I know Chrystler settled a lawsuit with them but they don't really discuss the details. I don't know what year the car was but I'm pretty sure it was a sedan not a convertable. For some reason I also think it was a rental car, not one they owned.
The only think I don't like about it is the seatbelts ( and this applies to all Chrystler vehicles) they used to use Gen 3 seatbelts which have safety concerns and they also use lightweight latchplates so if you need may a locking clip to install a car seat.
