Does anyone know where I can get "real" chrome Mickey ears to put on my car? My DD bought me the ears decal from DW and I was so excited, but they aren't chrome, the silver paint chipped off really easily leaving the ears white, and they finally fell off my car after about a year. I would love to replace them with chrome ears that will look good! TIA!

i had those too and they fell off. i worked at a sign shop and made me chrome vinyl ears. i made 'em the same size as the plastic ones. it'll be permanent and after having them over 3 years, they're still shiny like i just put it on.

so try a sign shop that has a vinyl cutter, it shouldn't take that long and not cost that much.

but becareful, i was rear-ended because the guy was trying to figure out if they were mickey ears. :sad2: we were fine and good thing my ears were too!

I bought a mickey head in DTD last August and it has held up (so far). Plastic for sure but let's see how it does after a Canadian winter:wizard:

I had mine on my car for about 4 years. The sticky tabs they come with, do not hold up well. DH used some kind of epoxy and it was fine.....no fading or peeling.
Different car now, so I need to put my new ears on the car.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with sticking problems. :-) I wonder why the silver paint came off of mine...
