Well here I am doing day one of my trip report!!!

Well I woke up at the hilton at about 4am, took me a hour to get ready and nearly another half hour to wake chris!!! he sleeps like the dead. Got the transfer to the terminal.
We were booked sunshine first so we had a seperate check in so I thought everything would go well, but oh boy was I wrong, there was a lady lady there handing out letters saying that our plane had gone in for service and that because of this all sunshine first had been down graded to economy. as you can imagine I was highly unimpressed as we need extra leg room etc. so when I got to the desk I asked about the leg room and seat back tvs etc that we were meant to get. and was told we still had those it was just the width. so I though ok, and we were also told we would get 150 each reurned by cheque.so I was kinda happy so we checked in and off we went to duty free.
Did some perfume shopping, got chris jeremy clarksons book (which he read and re read all the way to florida laughing his head off).
Back to the plane drama, sunshine first was called first, (we had all been seated at the frount of the plane) so we boarded, and we were disgusted to see the seats we had been given, no leg room at all! couldnt even get our legs in to sit down!!! tatty ripped seats and no tv! So off I went to complain and to cut a long story short we were given three seats each to stretchout on. still couldnt see a tv though. very bad flight all round the staff were rude and too busy talking about who was getting with who to care about anything else. so it was a very long nine hours.
Landed. chris and I had to go through customs seperate as we have different names, I went through first and went through fine, so carried on to collect the cases (which were the first two off) but chris hadt joined me so I toddeled back off to see what he was doing at customs just in time to see him being led away, and he was gone an hour!!!!!! yo can imagine the thoughts going through my head, turns out the usa had deported someone with chriss name and were checking it wasnt him lol.
We upgraded to a lovely grand cherokee jeep big and silver lol just my kinda thing.
We went down the 417 and found the hotel easy. we checked in and we were in the 60s building just up from the big baloo. very nice clean room, a bit smaler than the ones at all stars. very good location two seconds to the pool and food court.
we were too tired to unpack, and we were running late for a meal we had booked with my parents, so off we went..
thats the end of a very messy first day. sorry if its not very structured I was too annoyed when I jotted details dwn in florida to write much lol
Only thing left to say is if we hadnt already booked with travel city direct next year we would never ever book with them again, we have more horror stories later lol
