Christmas Trees in Rooms?

If you are staying concierge, it will be in your room when you arrive. If not, you would need to arrange a time that you will be out of your room after you have checked in. During that time frame, the Disney Florist will enter your room and set up the tree. They cannot do so prior to your check in because rooms are not usually assigned until you check in. On the rare occasion that they are assigned prior, there is always the possibility of reassignment.

To do anything prior to check in carries to big a risk of a mistake. For instance, I delivered a basket once a couple of years ago. It was placed a room prior to the guest checking in. The room was later reassigned. Another family opened the basket. Disney ended up replacing the basket items, but it sort of ruined the experience for the family that had purchased the basket.

Ok..great! No Im not staying concierge...I think I will look into that tree! Thought about taking my own little tree and ornaments, but would rather be in the parks than setting up a tree!LOL

We stayed concierge, the tree was there lit up when we walked into our room....It was so cute. I agree, Bama, that would be great to have the tree set up by elves while you are out at the parks. It is kind of neat to come into the room and see it. I am not sure I like this years tree. I doesn't look Christmassy to me. More like a Hanukkah tree. (no offense meant!
Blue and silver IMO don't feel Christmassy)

Here's the tree we had....I think it was the SUgar Plum and Friends.

Happy planning,

It's just a table top tree - For $365????

The 365$ gets you a 4 foot tree.. That can be floor or table top depending on your perpsective.

Personally, I would never get one, but I can see where some would. :)

The trees are so beautiful but the only way we would get one would be if our son was younger and still believed in Santa and we were there on Christmas morning. But that's just us.

We bought a very inexpensive, collapsible tree at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago just for our Christmas WDW trips. That same year, we bought a number of ornaments on-site, all deeply discounted just days before Christmas. This has worked perfectly for us!

Ok..so went to Wal-Mart supercenter and found the cutest Tinkerbell Christmas Tree for 24.95!!! It is about a 4ft tabletop tree and has tink ornaments...(no lights). I found some more Tink ornaments and got them...since we are driving, I think I will go ahead and decorate it and use that in our room!! :)

And I got me and DH 2 stockings to hang up as well! I am happy now!!!!:cloud9:

Okay I WANT that tree! I'm staying at SSR but want it so when my kids enter in the room they see it:( I'm so new to the whole Disney thing with family. The DVC resorts don't have concierge do they?
