Let me tell you, I am dreading our tree this year because we now have a kitten in the house. Our older cat didn't bother the tree too much last year, but did manage to chew on one of the bulbs.. ruined that one. We usually put our tree up the weekend after thanksgiving, but since we are leaving for WDW on 12/3, will put it up later. I agree with the posters about not putting anything breakable on the tree, and securing it to a hook in the wall or ceiling, so that the cats can't knock it over. Also, no garland or tinsle on it.. cats love to chew on that stuff!

These are great ideas! Wow! 3 kitties?! I did well to convince DH that we needed 2 so they wouldn't be lonesome! I have never owned siblings before, and these are the funnies kittens I have ever had! Maybe it is because I no longer have a "baby" but these guys are as amusing and a lot less trouble...I think!
