Like many here, we have a mix. It’s an eclectic assortment of ornaments including a few from my and my DH’s childhoods and a few handmade by DS as a child, as well as others we have collected over the years from various people and places, many with special meaning. I like a wide variety of colors, shapes, and materials as well. We actually have too many ornaments to fit on the tree without being too crowded, so we just decorate until we decide there’s enough, some get left in the boxes, and it varies by year. I don’t have space for, nor interest in multiple trees. We put up one real tree, which IMO, looks and smells great.
