Christmas tree in room

The tree we received was like a traditional green artificial tree. It had many pretty ornaments on it as well as these fiber optic spangle kind of things that glowed on and off. It was sooo pretty. Not in the least like the fiber optic trees that I've seen on the market. Much prettier aand fuller.

I'd quite like just a nice seasonal flower arrangement in the room over the 8 nights I'm there (CBR).

I had a look at the WDW florist site but it only goes as far as Thanksgiving. I'll keep checking.

My question is this - can I order an arrangement online, to be delivered to my resort on Christmas Eve?
I really don't want to phone as those international calls are a killer.

If so, how early would I have to order?

Welcome, Mia but I'm still trying to think how to describe the fiberoptic lights. Spangles isn't the best description. But as I was listening to the news that the solar flare may allow us to see Northen Lights tonight it occurred to me that that was kind of the effect these lights created when the room was dark as different colors glowed and then faded.

I just may not be able to wait until after Thanksgiving to take it out of the box!

Miss Mickey Mania that sounds like such a nice idea too. I would certainly think when you order online you could specify date of delivery wouldn't you think? Good luck with it.

Our experience at the GF in Sugar Loaf was different than peachgirl's

It certainly was! The florist told us that the resort would do pretty much what they did for you at the GF. However, they didn't at WL. I even requested that they set the tree up while we were gone and was told all they would do is put the box in the room.

Setting up only requires lifting the tree out of the box and plugging it in, but they wouldn't do it.


When did you get your tree? We got ours 12/21 and we were told that they only had the fibre optic tree and that they had just switched over to it recently. It is pre-decorated and as I said, it' really a gorgeous tree. We're very happy with it, we just weren't impressed with the WL as far as delivery or shipping.

It is a much better quality than any I've seen at local stores. It's very full and the fibre optics are very nice. Most of the fibre optics I see at local stores are sorty of tacky looking, but these aren't.

The closest I've seen to it are being carried at Dilliard's here. I don't think Dilliard's is a nationwide store but it's just an upscale department store. They have a tree made for Waterford that is pre-decorated and very similar in quality to the Disney tree. It costs $250.

I guess all anyone can do is check with their resort before leaving to be sure what they will do as far as shipping and delivery. Apparently it varies from resort to resort.

Ours was delivered 12/24 and it did have fibrre optics but not just fibre optics. I agree it was gorgeous.

last year I ordered the tree from the DIsney florist, the one with the fibre optic lights, it was alldeorated in Disney ornaments, adorable!

every evening, I moved it over to the balcony doors, so you could see it from outside, we were staying at the Yacht Club.

This year, I am going to buy a small tree from CVS or something, and bring a string of lights, and a few ornaments,
staying 16 nights, I want a tree in my room!!!!

we will be staying at the cr tower club level
checking in on christmas eve, we are driving
down.At target they have a 3 ft disney princess
tree with a few ornaments for 24.99,i also picked up
some gel looking window clings for the mirrors and balcony
doors.i have ordered from cookies by design a holiday
arrangement and a small wreath for our door. i think
santa will know where to find us!
