Hello all~

Just wanted to quickly say that I love this site! I have gotten so many wonderful ideas and tips from everyone. Keep up the good work!!!

I have made reservations for my family, DH, DS15 and DS11 to spend Christmas in Disney this year 12/24-12/28. (all are very excited) We are staying at POR which I hear is great. While talking to the CM on the phone she said that I could get a tree for our room from Disney Florist. the tree would be about 4-5 ft tall and be decorated disney. My question is: Has anyone gotten a tree from them? I have seen posts/pictures of the small tabletop trees, but wanted to know if anyone had gotten a big tree. Oh, they said that after our stay that it would be shipped to our home "free of charge", but I think the pricetag she quoted me was something like $200.00. Just wondered if the ornaments on the tree would make this a worthwhile splurge.

Thanks and have a great day!

Was there any additional information on getting the tree? Price? I saw this on the WDW special on the food channel and was interested in possibly getting one.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere other than the WDW Florist to order Christmas gift baskets or gift baskets that will be delivered to the on-property resorts? I understand that feralpeg (Peggysgiftsandmore) is no longer taking orders.

I don't think that that's the same tree as was on the food network. On the show it was called a "mousekatree" and that's not what the florist called it.

Since the show appeared on the food network, I went into their website and found this link on the upcoming repeats of the show. One is on tomorrow night. 11/30 at 8 est... From everything that I have accumilated, and have been told its much cheaper to get another florist...like 1800 florist to get a tree delivered to your resort. I saw ones for $59.00 decorated really cute. (they won't be 4 ft mind you, but how big do you need in your room) Anyway, here is the link.....see you around in the MK at Christmas!!!!!

Another idea is to order the holiday Mickey Gram from the disney shopping site. Last week they had $10 off personalized items, so I got one for my son for 14.99. It came today and I am taking it to surprise him in our room. It is very cute and alot less expensive.

We took a small, collapsible tree from Hobby Lobby (cost=$9.99) and some leftover lights. While at WDW, we bought some ornaments (available in nearly every shop). Right now, there are some cute ornaments for sale on www.disneydirect.com.
