I was wondering others thoughts for must do's or you might want to skip for Christmas time at Disney.

5 nights and already have ADR planned. Doing all parks once except MK which is going to be 2 days.

Please post anything you feel is helpful.

I think one of the best things to do is to try to get in as much of the holidays around the world in the world showcase. Some of the storytellers are great. I would recommend if you couldn't see them all, Norway, Italy, Germany, France, and the UK storytellers. I would also recommend catching the candlelight processional. Illuminations is great withe the holiday extra. The Osborne lights are great at HS. You could spend a few hours there. Depending on when you are going, I would avoid the MK at all costs on Christmas Day. Perosnally, I think Epcot has the most going on around the WS and I enjoy just taking it all in.

Don't miss Osbourne L lights at HS, dates you will be at WDW will help frllpw Board members to givr you more solid advice.Like maybe do MVMCP to see Christmas parade and spectacular fireworks display at party. If you are at WDW after last MVMCP you can see parade without going to MVMCP. You see if we know dates of your visit it will help us nail down better answers for you..

I could skip MVMCP - I went once and it was much too crowded for me and a frustrating experience. I love the Osborne Lights and Candlelight Processional, though. I recommend the Candlelight Processional dining package, so you can get guaranteed priority seating at the performance. I agree with PP that Epcot World Showcase has the most holiday activities. The resort lobbies are all decorated and my favorites are the Grand Floridian, Beach Club, and Wilderness Lodge. If you can work it into your schedule, they might be worth a look.

Disney_dogs I will be at the world over the same time you will be there. Basically, I would suggest going to the MK early in your stay to catch the parade and fireworks as it will be get more crowded as the week goes. I would suggest getting the candlelight dinner package if possible still. You can make reservations right now. Since you have never been for the holidays, I would focus on trying to spend more time doing the holiday specific items. It's a great time to be in the world, but it will be crowded. Just have a great time and enjoy the holiday spirit around the world. I have been close to 10 times over the holidays and I absolutely love it. I find I usually do to focus so much on rides, but the holiday cheer around the world. I'll reiterate from my previous post above, but I really enjoy the holidays around the world storytellers.

See the holiday parade at magic kingdom. It'll be the one shown during MVMCP. You'll get to see it without the party! We did the party last year and the parade was really great.

Check out the decorations at the Grand Floridian. Arrive at the parks at rope drop so you can get a lot done before it gets crowded. It won't be as crowded as the week between Christmas and NY, but we left last year on 12/18 and MK was NUTS.
