I have been told that during extra magic hours they have free hot coco and cookies for guests during the Christmas season at the Magic Kingdom. I find this hard to believe. Has anyone heard this before or experienced this?

We are going December 26-28 and would love to do this but I am guessing it was only during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates and not just on every night during the holiday season.

This year there are several types of free treats during the party.

Tortuga Tavern: Hot Cocoa and Snickerdoodle Cookies
Heritage House: Eggnog and Ginger-Molasses Cookies
The Friar’s Nook: Snow Cone and Sugar Cookies
Pete’s Silly Sideshow: Apple Cider and Sugar Cookies
The Lunching Pad: Hot Cocoa and Peppermint Bark Cookies

Free hot coco and cookies are during MVMCP.
Perhaps whoever told you it was during EMH was just confused since MVMCP takes place after regular park hours.

Wow. That's great! I thought it was just snicker doodles, cocoa, and apple slices. Where did you find this info?

Where did you get this list? Could you link to it please?

I have never gotten anything other than a sugar cookie and cocoa (although I think apple juice and apple slices were an option if you asked). I have not seen anywhere post anything different.

TO OP: I think they just got the initials confused.

I don't know how to add a link, but I just found the info posted on page 88 of the official MVMCP thread. It is from "the hub"

That is new this year and a real plus if you ask me, the old offering wasn't worth stopping more than once for. Good catch, the threads get so long sometimes I just stop going back.

Mmmmm, peppermint bark cookies! I know where I'll be spending half of my Christmas Party at.

It is during MVMCP and you will not be missing a thing. The cookies are pretty much soft cardboard and the cocoa is very watered-down.

ETA: If this the case, maybe there is hope for the cookies. LOL

Get a paper map when you enter the park for the party, they will be the party maps and will list all the different party thigns available on it, times, etc. it'll include the free stuff and things you can also buy.

I was asking the PP where they got that information since it was completely different than previous years, not where the snack stations were located. PP directed me to the info, which I quoted in full and posted.

I saw that, sometimes there is still changes though so just wanted to throw out there the map was there, maybe not for you but in general and many don't know the maps changes (or exists since they moved the map stands)

Wow... it's about time. The snicker doodles were bad and I'm not a fan of cocoa especially when it's 80 degrees at night in December. I think these other options are great but not enough to get me back to a MVMCP.

Now, I can tell my husband (and myself) the party price increase since last year has been softened by the added variety of "complimentary" snacks and drinks. I will definitely try to capitalize on this as much as I can.
