Christmas time at moderates?

We are considering a moderate for a Christmas season stay. We are value people, so I'm really adjusting here. Are any moderates better than others, keeping in mind that my expectations are not for deluxe style decorations? Do you have a preference overall? We would fly and would not rent a car. We would get 2 rooms-one for DH and myself and our boys (5 & 3), and one for my dad.

happened to love the Christmas decorations at Pop myself. my favorite of the moderates was POR - but it has been a few years since stayed moderate in Dec. they had a big tree in the lobby and decorations all around the resort.

Our favorite moderate is Port Orleans Riverside. We like the atmosphere, walking trail along the river, it has a good pool, and we consider it to have the best food court, in terms of quality, choice, and speed of service.

We LOVED POFQ at Christmas!! Everything was decorated, and the bellmen were handing out Mardi Gras beads to the kids (although that could be a year-round thing, not sure). The resort had a really festive atmosphere!

I like POR best for a Christmas time stay. And to get off the bus at the front of the resort to walk past the tree and decorations each time There is also a fireplace in the lounge to relax by.

Next, CSR is also beautiful, buts its harder to walk past the tree each time as its in the checkin area and there isn't a reason to walk there.

Then CBR. So pretty but not traditional to me.

Last is POFQ. The Christmas color scheme appeals least to me.

I also think Pop and AOA look great at Christmas!
