Trying to plan our trip the week after Thanksgiving and finding it a little more difficult than past trips. We are planning on attending the MVMCP on Thursday after spending the day at AK. The next day on Friday is when the performances for the ABC taping will likely be scheduled. My DD11 would very much like to see some of the performances. My question for those that have attended is what time are the performances? Do they start at 9:00am or later in the day? Do they release a schedule of performers and times prior?

Celebrity performers are generally not known until just a few days before the taping, often by leaks. There are not set performance times--this is a highly made-for-television event and not done with the live park guest in mind. It will involve waiting and performances resetting and probably not as fun as your DD11 imagines it to be. In some past years, the average park guest wasn't even able to attend.

Yeah, not really. For anyone that has attended the park on that day what time do the performances get under way? We are trying to decide when to purchase our MVMCP tickets for Thursday or Friday. I know we don't know the exact times but for people that have been in the park what times do they start taping? If we were there in 2011 when Beebs was performing my DD would have no problem waiting all day to just catch a glimpse. So if they announce that for example that One Direction is playing then we are going for sure. Not really wanting to do RD after being at MVMCP party the night before. So just wondering how early the performances have started is years past. No interest in what you personal feel about attending the event or how stupid we are for attending. Josh still has it as one of his parks to visit on Friday. Thanks

There are not set performance times, and the line up is never "advertised' its leaked.

I am not sure why you felt blasted. That was not my intention. I am just trying to get some feedback on people that have attended the performances. I have found lots of info on the parade taping but very little from people who have attended the performance. By someone commenting that you answered my question it really ends the topic. Now it seems for the 2nd time you have expressed your personal views on something that I was really was just looking for some feedback on. And to take it a step further you actually referred to me in a negative way twice. Basically who wants to help this jerk? I am sure people will run to defend you because you seem to help many people on here. But you are out of line this time and should not have taken my post personal. I don't care for the attack.

So back to topic. If anyone has attended the performances on Friday I would love to hear some feedback. Thanks

This past December, performers weren't taped on Friday. On Saturday, it was The Wanted, Neyo, and everything Neil Patrick Harris. Friday, opening segments using CMs only were filmed.

For Saturday, CMs and actors had to be in MK by 7:00 a.m. When they actually filmed, I don't know. All I know is it wasn't Friday because we had the CM vouchers for Saturday.

We have Saturday open so if the performances are on Saturday it would be even better! It would be really cool if Idina Menzel was performing this year! Maybe Disney will make it happen!
