My DFi and I are going to my parents house on Christmas Eve and staying overnight.
My mum always does all of the cooking and this year I thought I would try and surprise her with a special breakfast or some really nice side dishes.

I'm looking for a cinnamon roll recipe (We both love these!) and I would also like to see what else you all make!

Thanks
Laura

You could always opt to take some cakes for dessert instead of the usual christmas pudding.
Here's some DW did for a Christmas Fayre recently. All went down very well and sold out in no time (wish we had made more now :lmao:)

Or you could just go all out and do a GIANT christmas tree shaped cupcake with fondant or marzipan pressies under the tree :goodvibes

Beautiful cakes! :goodvibes Not much of a recipe, but I always make my mince pies with puff pastry - puff pastry base, spoonful or so of mincemeat, and then a lil puff pastry star on the top. Give em a lil sprinkle of icing sugar when they come out and eat them while they're still warm! They look really pretty and the pastry is much lighter than shortcrust :thumbsup2

Amazing cakes i plan on making some at the weekend for work

Im doing cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, peppermint creams, truffles, shortbread and millionaires shortbread.
